About this house rental
An absolutely incredible location in Crested Butte, 215 Butte borders permanent open spaces and enjoys stunning and forever protected views of the Paradise Divide mountains, Gothic Mountain, Mt. Crested Butte and the Slate River valley. From this spot it is an easy walk or townie bike ride to Elk Avenue shopping, dining and nightlife. Out the back door you can hit the trails in winter for cross-country skiing or snowshoeing and in summer you can easily start your hike or bike ride out to Peanut Lake and the Lower Loop!
The almost 4,000 SFT layout is perfect for large family gatherings and Colorado style entertaining with an open plan that puts the living, dining, kitchen and master suite on the main level that connects to the huge deck via double doors. The living room’s floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace is a wood burner! Just off the entryway there is a dedicated butler’s “bar” room making it easy to grab a drinks when everyone is hanging out on the big front porch. The spectacular view and backyard exceeded our expectations! We went on a family vacation with 5 adults and a two year old.The location was perfect, it was a 5 to 10 minute walk from Elk Avenue. There was plenty of space for the entire family. Each bedroom had its own bathroom. The amount of space was perfect. Our family chose not to cook in. If we had realized how well stocked the property would be, we might have cooked in a meal or two. There is a cabinet of spices and many basics in the refrigerator. It was a huge surprise. We also liked the Native shampoo and body wash in each shower. I have to say, the icing on the cake was the view from the house and the backyard. Our two-year-old grandchild spent every moment he could playing in the backyard. I had some toys shipped to him before our arrival. and Stephanie was very kind in getting the packages put inside the house. Stephanie was very quick in responding and made sure every part of our trip was perfect.

This home did not disappoint. The views are incredible. Everyone had plenty of room for privacy and gathering. The beds were super comfortable. Bedding and towels were high quality. Couches and chairs were comfy. You have a huge mud room with lots of organizing cubes for all your gear. Closets are huge too. Kitchen was spacious but did have a couple of things that needed repair. Dishwasher bottom rack is missing a wheel so it didn’t roll easily (cleaned just fine though), and some of the gas burners didn’t ignite without using a lighter. And one side of the oven wasn’t working. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Worth every penny. The home made our week in Crested Butte even better!

Amazing views! Great place for large families! Kitchen well stocked, bikes are nice touch for summer stays. Highly recommend it.
