Great Lake Front House with Outstanding Views and Private Beach Area

Great house- driveway is VERY steep and walk to the water is VERY steep.

House was beautiful and very clean. Rooms were large. Water access was great! Owner communication was fast and responsive.

This is the second year we have rented this house so we obviously enjoy it. We had 6 adults and 5 children in our group. The house is spacious with plenty of beds for a large group ...and very clean! We hope to rent it again next summer.

This is a superior home with an elevator especially for elder people! The owner is spot on for questions and replies fast! Lake view is spectacular with plenty of seating outside! Driveway down to house is fairly steep! One of our family members had a Miata sports car that sat low and he didn't have a problem with hill! We had 6 cars total! House was immaculate and had everything you need for a memorable stay! Plenty of kids toys and books supplied that kept our little ones busy!

Jim's home was super clean and comfortable! Everything we needed was there. The fenced in flat yard was a plus for the kids! Our family had a wonderful time swimming and tubing in the clear lake. We enjoyed every minute! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

My family has been coming to this lake for 75+ years and the only thing we like better than a fun day in the sun, is coming back to a property that is clean, stocked, convenient, with full amenities and MOST importantly – owned & operated by a responsive, caring, passionate family. There is plenty of and if for some reason you run out or can’t find the exact utensil desired, Jim will respond IMMEDIATELY with a solution. Large closets, new carpets, clean bathrooms, great lighting, multiple functional ceiling fans, well-labeled switches, new appliances, lake amenities, multiple exterior doors for deck access, hot tub, in-line gas grill, close water proximity, flexible bed configuration, multiple A/C zones, first aid kits & extra cleaning supplies alongside perfect wifi/cell coverage make this property especially inviting. And…if you enjoy a fresh morning hike or CrossFit challenge…you’re going to absolutely LOVE the awesome trip to the top of the driveway! Already looking forward to next year’s visit and thank you again Jim for setting the standard in 5+ star service.

Our family loved this place and would definitely book here again if in the area. The house was beautiful and very well stocked and equipped for our large group, especially the kitchen. The multiple decks made for quiet areas to sit and enjoy the sunrise and sunsets. Best of all, the owners were exceptional communicators with any questions. We didn’t have any big issues but had some questions both before and after check in, and all of our questions were answered promptly…within minutes. We can’t say enough good Things about this experience!

Brought the boat up from Texas. Had the whole family there. views were amazing and the lake was wonderful. House was in great shape and has plenty of room. Had a small issue of where to park the boat because of the steep slope of the property but we worked it out. We've been to 3-4 other lake getaways and this was our favorite.

We had a wonderful time. The house was everything as advertised and more. The house was clean and very spacious. Plenty of room for everyone.

Communication with the owners was excellent! This home is well stocked with kitchen necessities, fun games for adults and kids, and the view is amazing from indoors and outdoor. Space like a hotel with the comfort of a home

Jim was wonderful to work with our group. Very accommodating and responsive. The place is beautiful and met our needs as a group of old ladies. Everything we needed for a great week.

This by far is the nicest VRBO we have stayed in. Had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable, sheets were excellent. Kitchen is stocked with plenty of items. Everyone loved there time there.

This property was absolutely amazing. Fantastic views of the lake from all three decks with ample tables and chairs for the five of us. The new owners furnished the house with beautiful comfortable furniture and new mattresses. (I slept like a baby) The kitchen was well stocked for our needs as we cooked our own breakfasts and dinners. We used the grill every evening which has a direct gas line to the house. No 20# tanks to refill. Jim, the new owner was great to work with, making sure we got into the house okay and if we needed anything. He was always available to answer our needs if we had any problems. I would highly recommend this house for your relaxing vacation. (Just don't take my week) Dean Olson

The rental process went smoothly and the owner contacted us several times to make sure we had everything we needed. The house was clean and well equipped. Couldn’t have asked for more .

Inlaws were having some work done on their house so we popped up to the lake for some relaxing lake-time. The elevator was a nice surprise making the house accessable to the whole family. Jim was a great communicator and it all went off without a hitch. Thanks Jim

Jim's family lakehouse in Arkansas is truly splendid! The kitchen, living room & dining room are one coherent space with plenty of room for loved ones and friends to gather and spend quality time together. There is tons of personal space, with lovely bedrooms, bathrooms and lounge areas. The outdoor space is fantastic, with a nice dining table on the beautiful upstairs patio. An additional ground floor patio & small yard are available. To top it off is the crow's nest, with beautiful view of Greer's ferry lake. Jim just took ownership of the house, and ensured that our stay was perfect, even with a short runway to get the house fully stocked and ready. Thanks so much Jim & Nikki!

Great view and access to the lake

Quiet and secluded, plenty of room, well stocked. Being so secluded, provisions were a bit of a drive. Would have loved a firepit and more lawn area, but that doesn't look possible.due to topography. Overall, a beautiful place and had a.blast.

Beautiful view and great local boat ramp for easy access to the lake

We were so grateful to be able to stay in this beautiful home on a beautiful lake. The home was spacious and fully equipped with everything we needed. Bill met us at the house when we arrived and explained many of the unique details of the home. My adult children said that this one of our best vacations ever. Bill was a wonderful host and met us for check in. He showed us around the house and it was well stocked with plenty of room. We had 9 adults and an infant. The kitchen was well stocked and the grill was great to use. The rooms were spacious. We took a trip to Sandy Beach for the afternoon which was about half an hour away. We would have hung out on the sand bank by the house but the lake was really high due to rain and it was underwater

This house is very beautiful and is fully stocked with anything you need for a stay. My family and I had a wonderful stay! The owners were very nice and communicated well! The view is amazing, but I wouldn't recommend it with people with little kids. The way down to the lake is not for the faint hearted! :D otherwise it was great!

The home was very comfortable, clean, and well stocked. All the needed amenities for our party of 7. Spacious kitchen and living area. We loved the scenic view from the very top balcony and the relaxing sound of the water hitting the rocks on the shore! It was very peaceful and private. Definitely worth the drive.

We had such a great time staying here. We had 7 kids age 3-9 and two couples. The set-up of the house has two separate wings, making it ideal for two families. One hall has two bedrooms, both with king beds, and a full bath. The other hall has the master bedroom with a king bed and giant on-suit. Downstairs has two rooms, one with twin beds and an office with pull-out couch. Because the house is a full-time home for part of the year, it is well-appointed with anything you could need. The kitchen has ample dishes, glasses, mugs, and all cooking utensils. Because of Covid, we cooked in for most of our meals and it had everything we needed. Even cake stands for the little birthday celebration we had. The living room and dining room are stunning with high ceilings and a great view of the lake. We were able to access the lake down a rock path. It was steep but very doable. The kids loved playing on the rocks, attempting to fish, and skipping rocks. There was a place on the shore with the best skipping rocks. The house has several porches to enjoy the amazing view. Our favorite part of the house might have been the backyard though. I had been worried that the yard wouldn't be safe because of the cliff-side location, but it was great. The backyard was fenced in and it was a sturdy fence. We had no qualms about letting the kids play out there. We even brought a screen for an outdoor movie and were able to enjoy it at night. Mr. Schumann, the owner, was a pleasure to talk with and made himself readily available if we had any problems. This was great.

The house and surrounding were beautiful. The living area was nice. We were expecting more sleeping space but it worked out great. Wish we had had more time to decorate
