Wonderful Lake Front Home with amazing views and access to the water

Legitimately perfect, it was everything we hoped for. Located in a beautiful area overlooking a lake (which you can kayak on), this cabin is perfect for all ages, they even have swimming life vests for children available. 10/10, just watch out for bugs outside!

Very very remote. 2 miles on a gravel Road to the cabin that sits perfectly on Beautiful river water . The water level was a bit low, but my crew came equipped with Keen’s shoes and walking over big rocks were not a problem to enter into the water Yes, the stairs are a hike but safe to walk on down to the water. Only boat traffic occasionally… so quiet ! My family ate every meal at the cabin. The Kitchen was well stocked to assist with our menus. We discovered Collins Creek and a near by “ sandy beach” for family fun. Heber Springs was a surprise how unique it was. The cabin is very large .. lots of beds and the screen porch was perfect …. Enjoyed my stay immensely!

This house is sbsolutely beautiful. The views are awesome and because it is quiet, it us serene. We could've stayed on that deck or dock 24/7!! Beds are so comfortable and there was more than plenty of room for our group. Only downfall is the road getting to it...it's one lane and very narrow in spots so plan accordingly if you're pulling a boat. We were there for a fishing tournament and ended up making other arrangements for our boats and all worked out well. Owners are great and very responsive to communication. Will definitely book again....for a longer period of time, because the weekend just wasn't enough!

Location is very good, cabin is nicely arranged and decorated. Deck is awesome. Kayaking was a very good experience. Enough space to accommodate 15-16 people.

Very nice and very large kitchen/family room! Extra nice screened in porch and deck! Very hard to get to, you have to travel down a very narrow/winding one lane road about a mile to get the remote location, hopefully you do not meet a car going, we never met a car during the entire trip; 5 days. However; it is an absolutely beautiful setting once you get there. You DO NOT want to find this place for the first time in the dark. Master suite is very nice. Room for alot of people.

Great cabin. Beautiful views. Lots of stairs, yes, but so nice to have direct access to the water. Owner was so helpful and very quick to respond to any questions we had. Only thing would be really nice: to have a dock or pole right in front of property to be able to tie a boat off. Very rocky, but we knew that. Quickly adjusted to it. But careful footing was always a must. Overall.....Wonderful. Thank you Steve.

Beautiful cabin! We had a wonderful time, and we all loved the cabin. There was 13 of us and we all had plenty of room to move around . So many sitting areas to enjoy the beautiful views of the lake. My favorite was the screened deck area so cool in the morning with the ceiling fans, enjoying your morning coffee listening to the birds chirping. I also loved that the screen doors had locks for the little ones to stay on the porch. Just a idea maybe to put a gate at the front of the stairs from little ones trying to go down the stairs to the lake. There are quite a few stairs to get down to the lake so if you have little ones be alert. The road to the cabin is narrow but wasn't ever any traffic for the most part so we were good. We will return for sure.

My family and I were looking for a quiet weekend getaway and this house delivered. We enjoyed the fire pit and cooking family meals. The house was larger than what we needed and thought it would be nice to come back in the summer with a larger group.

We were in playing baseball in Conway. This was the perfect getaway for our families. The kids had a blast playing in the water everyday. It was just what you need to leave baseball behind at the park. Plan on coming back with or without a ball tournament

We have a total of 6 adults, 2 teens, twin 8 year Olds and a 7 year old so finding a place with plenty of room to spread out, enough comfortable beds for everyone to spend an entire week isn't always easy. Also, with the kids, easy and safe access to the lake is important. Our bunch agreed that this is our new favorite lake house. The owner was great to work with.

Nice place. Had a couple of issues but were to be expected since we were the first stay for awhile due to Covid. The only issue that hasn't been handled well is the refund for the deposit. When we booked in April as Covid shutdown was ending, it was a 2 week process to get deposit back. That alone is too long but I'm now being told it could be 4-5 weeks. I hoped my concern over this issue would be addressed but so far nothing. I will update later as to how it was ultimately resolved.

We love the house it had a beautiful view of the lake. The screen porches were so relaxing, with lake and fall colors all around. The house had a nice floor plan with large open main area for several people. The only problem we had was the distance between house and Mountain View Arkansas; it was listed wrong on the rental wed site. it was 13.6 miles farther than advertised.

Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to relax and enjoy my family. My grandkids made several comments about how nice everything was and how much fun they were having. The log cabin was just as advertised and beautiful! Hope to return again next year!

This large log house overlooked a narrow part of the lake. It was quiet and comfortable with adequate kitchen items and table space, both inside and on the porch, for family meals. There were many steps and landings to get to the water’s edge, but once there, we enjoyed boating, swimming, and nature watching.

Thank you for a great weekend with our family. It was truly a Lake House just like we were looking for. Nice quiet surroundings where no one will bother you. Right on the water near the jumping cliffs. Great location on the lake. Thank you for letting us enjoy your beautiful home. We would definitely stay again!

We loved the property wish we could have been not as close to everyone but still beautiful perfect for our small get away.

Very beautiful, very peaceful, very affordable. Beautiful cabin with a panoramic view of the lake. Good fishing off of the deck, even got a regular visit from a friendly otter every evening while fishing. I would recommend this cabin for anyone desiring to just get away. Thanks for allowing us to stay.

Comfortable beds for all, wonderful deck and dock, beautiful view of the lake. We had the best time using the outdoor fire pit and enjoying the weekend. We plan on coming back.

It was perfect for what we needed!!!! It was beautiful and peaceful! Loved it!

Our family and another (both wth kids) stayed for a long weekend and the layout of the house was absolutely perfect! Comfortable beds, the sunroom on the back of the house was the adults favorite. Plenty of space if you need space to yourself, and more than enough space for multiple hang out spots. The downstairs made for an awesome kid room, and mak and made it possible for the adults to get to hang out and relax! The spot down by the water is perfect for swimming and exploring... too cold This weekend though. We will definitely be staying again late spring/early summer so we can take advantage of that part of the property. We are used to staying in heber, so the grocery in this part of town was not as full as we are used to... but it had all the essentials and the pizza place in town is delicious! Thank you for having us, we’ll be back!

My family and another family (9 people total) just came back from a long weekend at this house and had an amazing time. We loved the layout, which provided a bunk room downstairs for the kids (5 in total) plus separate wings upstairs for the adults (one for the master and one for the other two bedrooms and bathroom). This gave us the privacy we needed and plenty of space to spread out. The main area (den/kitchen) was large and comfortable with more than enough dining and lounge seating for both of our families. We also really enjoyed the various outdoor spots to relax and view the lake, from the layered decks to the two screened in porches. We all loved being able to walk right into the lake at the bottom of the property, although the stairs and rocky hill leading down is a little challenging. I definitely recommend Chacos, Keens or similar shoes! We spent lots of time playing in and floating in the water and even ended up renting a boat from Sugarloaf Marina about 20 minutes away. The water is so clear and pretty! There is a lot of boat traffic in front of the house, but they seemed to be mindful of us while in the water. The kids had a blast in the bunk room and kept themselves entertained with the stash of games. There were TVs in every room and WIFI too! The kitchen and laundry room were well stocked....even with lifejackets and beach towels, which we forgot and were so glad to discover. The road to get to the house is narrow, as everyone says, but it's also really scenic and cool. We had no trouble in our SUV. The house felt very remote and private, which we appreciated, yet it was close enough to town to easily and quickly get to the only store and restaurant. By the way, while in Edgemont, you MUST go to Janssens Lakeside Restaurant! It's a gem with amazing food and even better desserts! Plus, they serve a full bar which is a plus in a dry county ;) I also want to say how responsive the owner was. I emailed at least half a dozen times about various things and Steve responded promptly and was so helpful. Overall, we had a great experience and would love to come back for a visit! We want to try it in the cooler months to take full advantage of the screened in porch and fire pit, but being there in the warm weather was pretty fantastic too!

Overall we absolutely loved his place! It is a hike to and from the water but the built in walkway is very nice. I would recommend water shoes because the rocks get hot and slippery. We can’t wait to go back.

We had a great time with our family of 13. Plenty of space to be comfortable and spread out throughout the house, as well as room to gather together for meals. Screen porch was perfect, with a beautiful view of the lake. Owner was very responsive and we were provided with all the necessities to make our stay enjoyable.

The house is very large and comfortable. Lots of seating for a multi family getaway. Nice kitchen with two refrigerators and plenty of cooking and eating utinsils. Excellent laundry facilities. There was plenty of room for our 13 family members. Excellent screened in porch and nice deck with a gas grill. Great fire pit. There are steps to a deck area about halfway to the lake that is a nice breezy area. The steps down to the water are steep, but are fine as long as you don’t have knee issues. The area next to the lake is rocky, but didn’t pose a problem for our athletic and younger family members. Boats do come through the area pretty quickly, so swimming across to the other side needs to be done carefully. This was a wonderful mini vacation for our family and we would seriously consider coming again sometime. 😄�

We had no problem getting inside the house. The beds were enough for our grp of 16 people. However, their are three bedrooms. We were four couples with kids so would have liked the fourth bed in a seperate room and not in a shared room. There was enough seating to accommodate all of us. Kitchen was fully stocked with the utensils. They had some basic stuff like oil, salt, sugar, pepper, coffee etc in the house. They had enough hand and bath towels. We had to use some of our blankets. Basement bunk room got a little cold. It was not getting heated very well downstairs. We enjoyed the firepit. One of the days we lazed around the deck and the lake. The gravel access to the house is narrow and uneven. We made sure to get to the house in the daylight. We had a midsize SUV and had no problem getting in and out. Overall, the house was clean and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.Steve and Linda, Thanks for letting us stay at your house.
