Very clean and exactly as described. The host was even kind enough to leave some snacks! The AC was a bit troublesome though because there was only 1 in the living room and it was exceptionally loud

The house was the perfect size for my husband and I. We were able to walk to so many great places and really didn’t need a car except to get to the house. The info provided by the hosts was spot on and we appreciated the personal touches like snacks, extra toiletries, etc.

We knew the house was small, but regardless it had everything we needed and was within easy walking distance of downtown. Couple of small gripes - very hard water and very hard mattress.
Big gripe - no TV. They claim there is, but only streaming is available. and you can't stream local channels and hence any network programming.. You might as well be offered a stack of DVDs. It would be nice to watch Tiger games as well. I can in Indianapolis, but not in Charlevoix!? I called the owner about it twice. Once I was ignored. Second, she tried to help but found out even she didn't subscribe to local channels.. We go to Charlevoix a couple of times a year, but won't return to this place until and unless that is corrected. Basic cable is no more expensive than what a streaming service like Hulu charges.
