About this house rental
Located on Lake Champlain, right on the Alburgh Passage, near public boat ramps, full-service marinas, and Alburgh Dunes State Park, the Aurora House features four private bedrooms, one and a half baths, a living room, dining room, fully-equipped kitchen, TV, a gas fireplace and much more. Right across the street are your private dock and beach area. One hour from BTV!
Please note that this home uses a well water system. It is treated with an injection system and then filtered. See Below.
The house is right across the street from the lake. A nice floating dock and great water access make this a home a fisherman's dream! And cook your catch on the bbq grill on the deck behind the house. Plenty of lawn for yard games too!
Islands Only management is right down the road!
Great local stores with deli, meat counter, and groceries.
Please be aware we cannot be responsible for weather, and Lake water level. That’s Mother Nature’s job.

Clean and beautiful home. The house had plenty of space for our family of 8. Easy access to the water and plenty of yard space/parking. The kitchen had all amenities which made cooking/grilling easy. My only advice would be to bring bottled water. We had a great time and would recommend this home.
*Please note that this home uses a well water system. It is treated with an injection system and then filtered, but Sulphur odor remains strong at times . Although ok for showers and dishes, It is not potable. Please bring bottled water until we get town water down this street!
Please be aware the town has pushed back their timeline. It may be next Summer before the project makes it down Poor Farm Rd.
We require our contracted renters to be 24 years old or older. Thanks, have a great time, please remember this is not a party house!

We had a wonderful stay at Aurora House. Charles, the property manager, was extremely responsive and helpful in addressing our questions and concerns. The property was beautiful and spacious. The house was clean, and as someone who cleans rental properties I am very picky. We would absolutely recommend this property to any family looking for a quiet getaway, with beautiful views, and a refreshing breeze that will blow all of your cares away. Thank you for sharing your little slice of heaven with our family!

We definitely enjoyed our stay. The house was well-stocked with every utensil, dishes, and pots we needed. My husband was quite happy with the fishing. Oh, and the sunrises are stunning. We’ll be back.

Beautiful spot with lake access just steps away from the house. The house was roomy and well stocked with 1 1/2 bathrooms. Upstairs has window A/C units that helped keep the house pleasant . Water is not drinkable but there was a gallon jug of spring water left for us. Wonderful vacation!
