With room for up to 14 guests, a private hot tub, multiple gathering spaces and a fully stocked kitchen, this home is ideal for relaxing, reconnecting a making memories beyond the slopes.
Winter at Schweitzer offers more than just skiing. Guests love soaking in the hot tub after a day outdoors, gathering around the fireplace for games and movies, and enjoying peaceful mountain views just minutes from Sandpoint's restaurants, breweries, and shops. Completely redone single family home directly in the heart of Schweitzer ski resort. The house faces directly at the ski hill with tremendous mountain and resort views. The house is designed to accommodate two or three families comfortably.
Ski in & out just steps from your front door and store all your gear in the HEATED oversized two car garage with storage for 24 pairs of skis, 8 snowboards, bench seating and 20' of clothing racks.
The house sleeps 12+ in full size adult beds - King beds, Queen beds and Twin XL beds (single adult length).
There at SIX full size bedrooms including TWO master suites with in-suite bathrooms. There are FIVE full-size bathrooms (4 bedrooms have their own bath).
BEDROOM LAYOUT
ENTRY FLOOR - is a massive bunkroom with two queen over queen log bunk beds. This room sleeps 4 adults comfortably and has a large dedicated full bathroom with two sinks, a full tub / shower and toilet. This bunkroom is adjacent to the lower level living room with large flat screen TV so the kids usually claim the entire lower level living area!
FIRST FLOOR - Has two bedrooms
Master suite number one is a very large Bedroom with a King bed facing Schweitzer mountain and a in-suite full bath with double sinks, massive oversize Jacuzzi tub with separate toilet area.
Bedroom two has a large queen bed, full size closet and is adjacent to a full bathroom with tub/shower sink and toilet.
SECOND FLOOR - has three bedrooms
Master suite number two is a massive Bedroom with a King size bed overlooking Schweitzer mountain and an in-suite full bath with double sinks, large oversize shower and toilet. This bedroom also has a separate sitting area with a desk, couch, flat screen TV and fireplace. It is the perfect getaway from the group and can also be used for younger kids to watch TV, etc. if the teens are watching TV in the other two living rooms.
Bedrooms two and three are exact duplicates of each other. They feature a large queen bed with a twin XL bed lofted overhead. In addition, there is a second Single twin XL bed on the other side of the room. These bedrooms each sleep three+ in full size adult beds.
These two bedrooms are directly next to a shared full size bath that also includes a full tub shower, toilet & sink.
GREAT ROOM - KITCHEN - DINING AREA ON MAIN FLOOR
There is a massive great room (Kitchen, Dining and Living room w/65" TV & Fireplace) so the whole group can be together in one spot.
SECOND LIVING ROOM ON ENTRY FLOOR
In addition, there is a completely separate large great room on the first floor with overstuffed couch and 65" TV that can be used as a movie room / kids gathering spot.
EXTRA LARGE HOT TUB IN DEDICATED COVERED PROTECTED ROOM
Large state of the art Hot tub that seats 10 - perfect for Après Ski !!!!
STATE OF THE ART HEATED GARAGE
Huge amounts of storage for skis, snowboards, boots and clothing.
Garage is equipped with a Tesla universal EV charger to charge any electric vehicle! Garage is radiant heated (actually the entire house is) so everything dries out nicely overnight so you are ready for the next day.

Selkirk Powder Company offer Cat Skiing and Heli Skiing Trips as well as snowmobiling and tours. Also a great option for family members that might not otherwise be able to get onto the mountain.
Best Restaurant:
Powderhound pizza is definitely a favorite for pizza! The Chimney Rock restaurant on Schweitzer is a fantastic spot for lunch or dinner. The Humbird’s restaurant, The Crow’s Bench is also a cool spot for drinks and food. All are a very easy walk from the house.

This home is the perfect family gathering place at an amazing ski mountain! Perfect location, beautiful views, very comfortable furniture, furnishings and importantly, very comfortable beds (& plenty of them!) Perfectly suited to a large family group (we were 14 total) with room to spread out & space in which to gather. Pictures/listing are accurate! Kitchen well appointed and Hot tub was a perfect ending to day of incredible skiing! Theresa was very responsive to any questions. Highly recommend and hope to return soon!

Convenient to village, great sleeping quarters, radiant heated garage works wonders for ski gear. Couldn't figure out how to dial back the ground level heat so that bedroom was really hot but otherwise a stay

Great stay. Huge place, with room for all of us to spread out. We had 4 teens with us- everyone was happy! Figured out the ski path back to the house on the 2nd day. Great time spring skiing! Never a wait for a chair lift. And for non-skiers, definitely get the foot tickets to the Sky Lodge (top of Great Escape Chair). Can't get a better lunch view than that!Ben was very easy to communicate with and let us check out later since the next guests weren't checking in that day.Would definitely come back.
