About this cabin rental
Welcome to Bluff Point Lodge! Nestled on Smith Lake, our modern rustic A-frame cabin offers deep, year-round water. Just off I-65, it's 1 hour from Birmingham and 5 minutes from Trident Marina. Inside, enjoy beautiful wooden planks and cathedral ceilings. Outside, immerse yourself in secluded nature, stunning scenery, and sunset views. Guests can enjoy two kayaks, a paddleboard, a large wrap-around porch, and a unique covered bar area built into the bluff. Perfect for a peaceful getaway!
**Living Room:**
Step into the spacious main living area featuring an open floor plan with stunning cathedral A-frame ceilings. Relax in the cozy living room with two comfortable couches, chairs, and a 65” Roku smart TV, supported by high-speed fiber internet. The dining table accommodates 8, and the kitchen counter seats 3. The kitchen is fully equipped with new stainless steel appliances (fridge, microwave, stove/oven), a dishwasher, drip coffee maker, hot water kettle, toaster, dinnerware, and cooking utensils. A convenient half bath is located just off the open living area.
**Bedroom #1:**
Located downstairs, this master bedroom offers a king-size bed, an en suite bathroom, a walk-in closet, and a 40” Roku smart TV.
**Bedroom #2:**
Also located downstairs, this bedroom features a queen-size bed and a spacious double-door closet.
**Bedroom #3:**
Situated upstairs, this bedroom boasts a queen-size bed, lofted ceilings, and a large closet.
**Loft Area:**
The loft area includes two twin beds (twin daybed with trundle) and a full bath, providing additional sleeping space and comfort.
**Exterior:**
The home's exterior features a large wrap-around porch with an XL Big Green Egg for guests' use. Enjoy breathtaking views from the beautiful sunset deck halfway down to the lake or unwind at the covered bar built into the bluff. The aluminum boat dock is perfect for swimming and sunbathing. The property offers exceptional privacy, enhanced by our ownership of the adjacent lot. Guests can tie their boat or jet ski to the side of the dock during their stay (note: a covered slip is not available). The dock is equipped with a large lily pad, two kayaks, and one paddleboard for guests’ enjoyment.

Awesome cabin, beautiful just like the pics, everything you need right there. Great internet, hostess responded quickly to our questions. Thanks for an awesome home, my family had the best time! The grand kids loved kayaking, grandson had a blast fishing !

We planned a getaway for me and my fiancé’s joint bachelor/bachelorette trip, and we absolutely loved this place! We were able to grill out on the green egg, play cornhole, enjoy the sunset on the deck, and of course enjoy the beautiful, spacious dock. We were even accommodated extra lounge chairs for our larger group. I was very impressed by the amount of amenities that were already at the cabin such as cleaning supplies, laundry pods, etc. I don’t believe there was anything we ran short on, other than towels, which we brought extra knowing we would use them quickly. The stairs down to the dock were as expected, definitely a hike, but you know that ahead of time. Plan accordingly to bring everything you need to stay down at the dock all day! We had such a great time!!

We had an amazing time during our stay! The cabin was equipped with everything needed and then some. The location of the property was perfect for a quiet family trip with beautiful views! My children were entertained the entire time at the dock. The floating pad and kayaks were a huge hit with them. The home was spotless and so beautiful. We would LOVE to come back, and I highly recommend to anyone interested.
