Fantastic location and beautiful view! We loved Marco Island and this complex. However, the unit was dirty and smelled of smoke when we arrived. I was told by management it had been a very busy week, and that may be why it wasn’t as clean as usual. They came in the next day to clean, and it was somewhat better. They also left brand new clean bedding, since there were stains on the bedspread. We appreciated the prompt attention. We would stay again, as long as we could be sure that the unit was clean upon arrival.

The bathroom has a funky smell to it. It over powered the entire unit. Don't know if the previous renters smoked in it but the smell of cigarettes and mold were so overpowering we left 4 days early. The rug in the hallway was filthy as was the bath mat. Everything else was clean. Only one elevator worked the entire time we were there. Plus the constant use of keys to get into the Apollo including the gate, lobby, beach, pool and elevator was ridiculous.
