At Apollo on the Beach, unit 706, you'll have your own private balcony with southwest exposure, allowing you to relax and take in the beautiful sunsets night in and night out! Take in the unobstructed views of Marco Island's beautiful white sandy beaches. Unit 706 is a 1 bed 1 bath, WiFi, flat screen TVs in both the living room and bedroom. re-decorated throughout! My husband and I visited for a week in June, and have been to a few other units within Apollo a number of years back. This unit had a nicely updated bathroom, and the living area was comfortable and clean. The kitchen is dated and small, but honestly just fine if you don't plan to cook much, which we did not. Ample tools/pans etc to reheat or do simple cooking. Our only real complaint was with the bed- very soft/broken down mattress and pillows. According to the guest book it was new in 2020, but we both felt it was very uncomfortable, but perhaps that's just a personal preference. The Apollo is a great location, being right on the beach, and the pool is nice, though it would be better if Apollo put umbrellas in the umbrella stands on the pool deck to offer at least SOME shade (we found one in the "beach closet" of our unit, but it is broken). Beautiful sunset views from the balcony, the beach, and the Sunset Grille. Check-in was very quick and easy with the management company and with Apollo's desk. We had a very nice time overall, and would recommend the unit/location. If you aren't flying, would recommend bringing your own pillows!

Kitchen could use some updates. Not great for cooking, but good for fridge and freezer use. Nice updated bathroom. Lanai excellent view and used daily! Small bedroom with partial closet use. Use of beach chairs from the unit was awesome. Pool area was clean and well maintained. Location and access to the beach was excellent.

The Apollo is a great place to stay although our unit could have been better organized. After staying at quite a few different VRBO rentals I can definitely see the difference between a personally owned property and a realtor owned property. This rental was clean and somewhat updated but there was random mismatched silverware, 3 beach towels, no place to put your personal items/clothes, etc. All the bedroom drawers were filled with extra bed linens. Very disorganized. The dish and hand soap was watered down and there was some mold in the fridge. I love Marco and have been many times so I will come back, just not to this unit.
