Welcome to our historic Perry Street Retreat, a 6-bedroom 4-bath historic home located in the heart of Cape May. Our beautiful beach home has been fully renovated from top to bottom – gourmet kitchen, steam room, open living space, off-street parking, phenomenal in-town location, steam shower, and, best of all your own PRIVATE HEATED POOL and shaded wet bar area – all to make your perfect vacation!

Congress Hall – 1-minute walk (you can see it from the front porch)
Beach – Perry Street – 3-minute walk (straight down the road)

Our Beautiful Home
Our historic 1840-built Cape May has been fully renovated from floor to ceiling! No expense was spared – SubZero refrigerator + extra fridge, ILVE cooking range, high-end lobster pot filler faucet over the range, center island with sink, granite open kitchen layout – every detail has been immaculately updated!
6 spacious bedrooms, 4 fully renovated bathrooms – including a large master bathroom with heated floors. outside shower, steam room. Tankless water heaters so you never run out of hot water!
Enjoy afternoon tea and people-watching from our front porch! Being so close to the Congress Hall, see the wedding parties rush to the reception or the Christmas Parade which passes right in front of the house!
A Beach Box is available for all our guests right at the beach during the peak summer season. No need to carry back and forth your chairs, etc. Keep everything secured right at the beach!

3,000 square foot interior space, 1,000 square foot outside pool area
Our kitchen is fully equipped with all the pots, pans, glassware, plates, bowls, and utensils for your convenience. Our cozy kitchen makes it easy to throw together meals for the whole family.
We also have a gas grill on the side porch, which has several seating areas for family dinners.

Perry Street Retreat has high-speed wifi connection to aid summer homework or long meetings. We also offer cable-TV and access to streaming services, including YouTube TV (local channels, cable channels and DVR), Netflix, Disney+, Hulu and Amazon Prime.

Our beach house is equipped to make all of your beach days enjoyable! We have all the essentials plus extra. There are 8 seasonal beach tags available upon your arrival.
We provide:
- 8 beach tags
- 8 beach chairs
- a beach cart/ trolley
- large cooler
- large umbrella
- beach toys
- Steger's beach box so you can leave your beach stuff at the beach (these boxes are only available during peak season - when Steger's offers the boxes)

We loved the location which was close to everything. There was plenty of room for 4 adult couples and a baby. The parking was a real plus and the small pool was enjoyable on a windy fall beach day.Host was extremely responsive and helpful.

Overall an excellent stay in Cape May in a perfectly located home. Communication with property manger over minor problems during the week was good. 1/2 block to Washington Street a huge plus. 5 minute walk to beach.Great pool once heating was corrected and family lounge area TV was large and sharp for watching tennis! On the “could be better “ side: carpet and furniture fairly dirty likely as a result of end of season rental stay? Dishwasher rack broken wouldn’t slide, No bathroom en-suite for second bedroom on second floor required sharing bath or going downstairs for bath. Master bedroom quite noisy as a result of on busy street location. Has to run portable ac to drown out street noise. Finally, when paying premium for house and an additional cleaning fee, the departure cleaning rules were a burden. Better to charge 50 more and have less burdensome instructions at end of stay! (Including request to vacuum floor with broken vacuum.)

Absolutely loved the house in Cape May. An older 6 bedroom Victorian, it had all the charm and space we needed for the 11 adults and 3 small children. The house is situated basically caddy corner from Congress Hall and a block from the Washington Street Mall, as well as convenient to walk almost everywhere in Cape May. The pool in the yard was the perfect size for all to enjoy. We had our own beach box 2 blocks away at the end of the street on the beach, so there was no need to haul anything back and forth, just ourselves. The owner and property manager were incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with. Would absolutely stay again.

Plenty of room and a great location. Enjoyed the pool and the beach box is an added convenience. We had a wonderful family week!
