This custom-built home provides the perfect peaceful retreat with a location just an eight-minute walk to the beach via South Carolina Ave and a two-minute bike ride or stroll to the Island Greenway. Your island getaway offers over 2,200 square feet of upscale living space with vaulted ceilings, modern beach decor, and lovely outdoor spaces.

Spend all day at the beach and then return home for a crisp beverage on the furnished front porch with a TV. Or, enjoy a good book while the littles are napping on the back patio featuring a comfortable seating area with a surfboard table and grill. The beautiful back patio is the perfect beach retreat for a backyard board game. Completely enclosed by a privacy fence, the yard offers seating for the whole crew and a grill for meal preparation while enjoying cornhole or bocce ball. For more enjoyment, go for walks, runs, or bike rides on the neighboring streets or explore Mike Chappell Park via the Island Greenway, with a playground, tennis, pickleball, and basketball courts, and the CB Skate park. Enjoy food and shopping on Carolina Beach’s main drag, including the boardwalk, restaurants, the famous Britt’s Donuts, ice cream, boutiques, and grocery stores. This property provides easy access to Dow Road, the local’s secret alternative route to traverse the island.

Snuggle up on sofas and an armchair by the gas fireplace, play after dinner board games, or watch a movie on the 55-inch TV with a sound bar and a Blu-ray player in the open living space. The gourmet kitchen is perfect for those who prefer to skip the restaurant crowds and create fun family memories. Enjoy granite countertops, a farmhouse sink, a walk-in pantry, and a full suite of stainless steel appliances (including a microwave, crockpot, toaster, and waffle iron). Hot beverage connoisseurs will appreciate the French press, coffee grinder, coffee maker, Keurig, and electric hot water kettle. Kid-friendly dishware, utensils, and cookbooks are also provided. Perch at the kitchen island, set the rustic-chic dining table, or set the kid's table. A highchair and booster seat are also provided for the wee ones. Family-friendly extras include beach gear (wagon, umbrella, toys, boogie boards, chairs, canopy, and towels), an indoor play tent, a Pack 'n Play (sheet not provided), indoor and outdoor games including tennis and pickleball equipment, and a water table. Complimentary high-speed fiber internet, a washer/dryer, an outdoor shower, a collection of puzzles, books, and DVDs, a ping-pong table, and a second fridge are provided during your stay.
