Welcome to your Hill Country getaway! Cortijo con Vistas (Farmhouse with Views) lives up to it's name! This modern Hill Country farmhouse was built atop a rolling Texas hill in the summer of 2021, providing amazing views from an expansive first floor patio and matching second floor deck. Each bedroom captures the picturesque view with the primary overlooking the patio and the two upstairs guest rooms overlooking the deck.
The house is perfectly situated for your Hill Country retreat. Set on a little over an acre of land in Dripping Springs, the house provides a feeling of remoteness while being central to wedding venues, wineries, distilleries, breweries, hiking trails, watering holes, highland lakes, and the nearby towns of Wimberley, Fredericksburg, and Johnson City. The views from the house are breathtaking with rewarding sunsets at the end of each day. Bring a camera! The deer, family of small foxes, pair of roadrunners, and wild birds add to the charm of the home.
This newly built house is waiting for you with flat screen HDTV's in the living room and primary, new memory foam beds in all three bedrooms, a large living / kitchen / dining open floor plan, and free WIFI.
Main Level:
- Large living / dining / kitchen open floor plan with plenty of seating, including a comfy couch, chairs, dining for 6, and 4 bar stools. A 50" HD Smart TV hangs in the living room. The kitchen is equipped with all the essential cookware and bakeware and some basic spices. A voice controlled speaker allows you to stream your favorite music and control several features within the home.
- Spacious primary suite with a beautiful view through a sliding glass door that leads to the patio. The primary bath, includes dual vanities, a toilet, and a spacious shower. Rest up on a king bed with a new memory foam mattress while dozing off to your favorite TV show on the 50" HD Smart TV.
- Patio with dining/lounging area, two chairs outside the master bedroom, string lights to illuminate and add ambiance to your Texas Hill Country evenings.
- Laundry with new washer and dryer, ironing board and iron.

We were in Dripping Springs for a Wedding and the house was really nice and clean. I was traveling with my parents who are older and the house layout was perfect. They were able to use the downstairs master and my Brother and I used the upstairs bedrooms and bath. The patios had a nice view. The kitchen was well equipped and we even were able to use a steamer that was in the master bedroom to steam our dresses. The keyless access was convenient and there is a gas station nearby that had a nice selection of items and a grocery store HEB that was nearby to pick up some breakfast food. MyDad bought his own Keurig coffee so it was nice he could make his coffee like he is used to doing. The house is non smoking and my Dad was able to smoke outside the house as long as he didn’t throw cigarette buds on the ground (burn ban in effect) and just safer we had him put them in an empty water bottle that had a little water left in the bottom that insured we did not have any issues.The house has some smart house features like turning the lights on and off. Also we had the cutest little doe visit the patio at the house our last morning she was beautiful. I was also able to walk on the street and around the house. The terrain around the house is hilly, lots of rocks and uneven land. I walked on the street the traffic was very light and I got a great workout walking back up to the house from the bottom of the road WOW was that a steep walk.

Return stay for a Girls Trip - we found the house very clean, well stocked, comfortable, and in a great location! Would highly recommend for a stay in the area.

We greatly enjoyed our stay. The house was clean, spacious, and well equipped. We immensely over watching the sunset on the porch with its stunning views. We will definitely stay again upon our return to the area.
