About this house rental
The Mountain House sits next to Pisgah National Forest and on 70 acres. Plenty of hiking with trails to waterfalls. Natural wildlife to observe such as deer, turkey ect. . Minutes to the Parkway, Grandfather Mountain, Blowing Rock, Boone, Banner Elk, Linville, and Lake Julian/Park and more! Enjoy nearby events/activities, such as Art in the Park, Highland games, Winterfest, Ziplines, snow skiing, horseback riding, shopping, wine tastings/wine vineyards, fabulous restaurants, and much more! Home is custom done with natural stone in the kitchens and bathrooms. Three bedrooms on the main floor with the kitchen/bar, sunroom, living room, fireplace, bath, and two decks with grilling and perfect place to relax with a glass of wine. Second floor has another deck with a 10 view which has a hot tub, recreational room/ping pong table, bar, laundry room, and bathroom.

The photos do not do this property justice. The view is absolutely breathtaking. All the furnishings are high end and professionally decorated. A beautiful house and grounds.
The hot tub works well and is a great way to wind down after a day of hiking.
Everything you need is on site except for paper products. Be sure to bring your own. It is in the contract but I did not remember. It is the first VRBO house I have stayed at that I had to supply my own.
The drive into town takes about 30 minutes. The view outweighs the drive. There are great hiking trails that are right in blowing rock.
This is a great place to relax and enjoy nature. You will not be disappointed.
