About this house rental
Villa Homewood is a gorgeous holiday villa located in Tosalet a delightful and desirable part of Javea. This relaxing villa is near to all local beaches and restaurants. The villa comprises of 6 bedrooms 3 Doubles and one super sized double, two further twin bedrooms. The villa has an open plan feel with large kitchen dining area and lounge. On the first floor there are two double bedrooms, one ensuite and one family bathroom complete with large bath and shower cubicle. Downstairs on the lower floor there are 2 twin bedrooms two of which have their own private ensuites, there is a separate family bathroom, a double bedroom and a second TV lounge/ bedroom area with the addition newly acquired double Sofa Bed, this room leads onto the patio & pool area. There is wireless Internet together with a vast selection of International TV channels, these include sports, movies etc. The villa is surrounded by garden and terraces and has its own private 8x4 pool.
Enjoy the seated Barbecue terrace, this is an area that’s both private and intimate.
Around the property are many other seating areas both shaded or full sun, there are plenty of sunbeds to lounge your days away.
Enjoy your evenings on your wonderfully comfortable Naya, just sit out and enjoy the balmy Spanish summer evening with views of both the Montgo and sea.
More about where we are: One of the things you will soon appreciate is that although you are only 3Km from the Arenal beach it is so peaceful where you will be staying. We would recommend a car to explore the many local coves and beauty spots, Granadella and La Barraca along with the Arenal are all easily reached in minutes. Of course if you prefer there are local taxi firms who are very reliable to ferry you around if required.

Good villa, good air conditioning, always outside spaces in the shade. Convenient for the Arenal.

We stayed at the villa with our family of 9 guests. Unfortunately we discovered that out of the 5 bedrooms, only 2 air con units were working which made it very uncomfortable in the other rooms. The host did their best to resolve this but by the time a solution was sought (2 fans delivered, 2 remotes and portable unit) it was the end of the holiday. I understand the listing has now been changed to reflect this.
Overall we felt that the property had not been deep cleaned for some time and required an initial clean by ourselves. Particular areas that needed attention were the BBQ, drawers which contained a lot of dust and the shower trays in the upstairs bathrooms which were constantly close to overflowing due to large clumps of hair in the plug. We did not bring this to the attention of the host as we were already having daily contact regarding the air conditioning and we did not want to spend the entire holiday talking about what needed to be done. What is worth pointing out, however, is that VRBO / host charged a substantial cleaning fee and therefore we would have expected the property to be spotless for that amount of money.
The property itself is in a good location, however, we were drawn to the "minutes from the beach" comment when we chose this villa. It is minutes in a car but Arenal beach which is the main one in the area is around a 30-40 minute walk and therefore a car is probably needed here as there were real issues getting taxis.
Overall, a pleasant stay.
