About this house rental
Comfortable house completely renovated and furnished in 2021, close to the sea and the shops of the presidents' district (800m), in a quiet area (Arago market, large beach and casino des pins about 1 km away - everything is accessible in 10 to 15 min walk). A bakery (with oyster sales on Sundays), a newsagent and an ATM are in the immediate vicinity of the house - less than 2 min walk. A supermarket and other chain stores (super U, Lidl, Intermarché..) can also be reached in less than 5 min by car and 25 min walk.
The house is NO SMOKING.
The house is not suitable for people with reduced mobility due to steps/stairs to move between the different rooms.
The house has a capacity of 5 beds for holidaymakers wishing to rest and enjoy the seaside resort of Les Sables d'Olonne without necessarily having a vehicle.
Furnished rental available from June to September, school holidays and Christmas with a minimum period of 7 days. Decreasing prices if rental of 15 days or more.
The house is composed of:
- an open space of about 40 m2 integrating a kitchen open to the dining room and the living room (the living room is slightly below the kitchen/dining room with 2 steps separating the two spaces).
- a bathroom upstairs with an Italian shower (120x90) with a sink, a towel dryer, a cupboard and the provision of a hairdryer
- 2 separate toilets (including 1 in the laundry room/garage)
- 3 bedrooms upstairs:
-> bedroom 1: 9 m2 with a 90x190 bed (with outdoor balcony)
-> bedroom 2:11 m2 with a 160x200 bed (with outdoor balcony)
-> bedroom 3:12 m2 with a 160x200 bed
The rooms are equipped with duvets and pillows (summer-winter depending on the season). Please note that the "sheets/linen" option must be subscribed to for the supply of bed and household linen - see details below.
- Garden-terrace equipped with 2 deckchairs, a table and chairs (for 6 people) and a charcoal barbecue
- Parking space possible in front of the house
The house has the following amenities:
- Samsung HD 4K Smart TV (screen size 133 cm)
- Wi-Fi Internet (included in the price)
- Equipped kitchen: dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, microwave, oven, induction hob and fridge / freezer, extractor,
- Vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board and hairdryer available
- Board and card games (tarot, belote, times up, perudo,..)
- Cot, chair and baby bath available on request (free of charge).
The rates include charges (water, electricity, Wi-Fi internet subject to responsible use of these resources - any "abnormal" overconsumption will be recharged). /!\ If you own an electric car, you will be responsible for the electricity because the energy consumption generated by charging is much higher than the consumption generated by the daily use of the home.
"Sheets/linen" option: supply of sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases, linen towels and household linen (dish towels) for a price of 49 euros for the stay (i.e. €18 per bed of 160 and €13 for the bed of 90). Towels and household linen (dish towels) are provided if you have subscribed to the sheets/linen option.

We had a nice stay in the holiday home. It was located in a quit side-street. All modern equipment was present. Good bed also. And a small nice garden . Also a small garage was present so we could park our E-bikes inside the house. Top to rent 👍👍👍

We recently stayed at Nuestro Techo in the Vendée and overall found it to be a good house with plenty of potential. The property offers a nice garden, lots of space throughout, and spacious bedrooms. It is also well located for exploring the area, and the gentleman who welcomed us was both lovely and very helpful.That said, there were several downsides to our stay. Parking was a real challenge — the driveway is only suitable for a very small car, and the neighbours appeared to block on-street spaces by moving bins. The property behind the garden is currently under construction, so mornings were often disturbed by noise, and dogs across the street barked for long periods during the day.Inside, a number of maintenance issues stood out: the flooring in one double room was peeling, the bed in the single room was unstable and squeaky with an extremely hard mattress, and there were cobwebs on windows and dirt on the floor on arrival. The sofa was also stained and poorly assembled.Communication with the host was unfortunately quite frustrating. Messages via the Vrbo app often took days to receive a reply, and when we had a problem with a faulty fire alarm, it took hours to get assistance. Most concerning was that less than 72 hours before check-in we were informed that a 750 cheque was required as a deposit to receive the keys. As we do not use cheques, we were then asked for 350 in cash on arrival — something never mentioned in the listing or booking process.
