About this house rental
Gîte for 3 people,
This cottage, of about 70 m², includes:
On the first floor of the courtyard: a large living room (sideboard, table, chairs, armchairs, television, wood stove); a kitchen area (gas stove, electric oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, utensils, crockery); a sleeping area (1 bed 90x190); a bathroom (shower cubicle, sink), washing machine, a separate toilet.
On the first floor: _ A mezzanine bedroom with a 140x200 bed. _ A landing with desk and storage.
Bed linen and towels are included (beds made on arrival). Free childcare equipment on prior request.
A wood stove (free wood) and radiators powered by a heat pump.
Outside: a large enclosed courtyard, and a small wood, and beyond: the meadow of the goat Madona.
Vehicle parking, barbecue, clothesline, garden furniture, sandpit, children's games, hut, swings.
The cottage is located in the Vendée bocage, 25 minutes from the Poitevin marshes, 30 km from the Puy du Fou, and 45 km from the sea. It was set up in the former carpenter's workshop, adjoining the owners' house. The property also includes other witnesses of the traditional Vendée habitat: the barn, the cellar, the bread oven, the well and the watering trough, the pig roofs.
Inside, the old stones and the framework are exposed. To these traces of history is added contemporary comfort.
We pay great attention to hygiene and cleanliness, with rigorous cleaning between each occupant, with washing and disinfection of the bed protectors. This is also why we do not want pets in the accommodation.
If the accommodations are not left clean, a cleaning fee of €60 is to be paid.
You will be ideally positioned for walks or cyclists (a Vendée loop crosses the hamlet).
La Rousselière is a locality, in the Vendée bocage, in the commune of Bazoges En Pareds, rich in 6000 years of history: La Ciste des Cous, the medieval Keep and its garden, which come back to life during night walks, Festoieries and medieval festivals.
10 minutes away: the lake and the beach of Rochereau, the forest, the lake and the Zoo of Mervent; Vouvant, classified as "the most beautiful village in France": the Mélusine tower, the Méandes de la Mère, the painters' galleries; Mouilleron en Pareds, the Clémenceau and De Lattre de Tassigny museums, the hill of mills.
