About this house rental
This charming house is ideal for getting together with family or friends. It is located in the heart of the historic village of Saint-Fargeau, just a stone’s throw from the shops and a two-minute walk from the castle.
Once you push open the gate to the small garden that opens onto the church square, you enter a spacious, magnificent, welcoming, and comfortable living area. The scene is set: a large wooden table, a well-equipped kitchen that makes you want to cook up fresh market produce, a living room, and a wood-burning stove for the colder months that invites you to relax.
The property sleeps 6 to 8 people (one bedroom with two extra beds available upon request).
On foot, the narrow streets will lead you to bakeries, cafés, the Fléchais pastry shop, the pharmacy, and the convenience store “Chez Momo.” The Bi1 supermarket is a two-minute drive away; the market in St. Sauveur-en-Puisaye takes place on Wednesdays, the one in Saint-Fargeau on Fridays, and the one in Toucy on Saturday mornings.
In the immediate vicinity, there are countless sports and recreational activities that will appeal to young and old alike. Horseback riding, tree-top adventure courses, swimming, rail biking, castles, Guédelon, Ratilly, Colette’s House, an educational farm, workshops, historical reenactments, and night tours of the Château de Saint-Fargeau…
