1.5 hours from Paris; the A10 highway exit is 10 minutes from the cottage, and Gare de Mer is also 10 minutes away.

In the village, you’ll find essential shops, a pharmacy, doctors, restaurants, bike rentals, and playgrounds for children along the banks of the Loire.
Nearby, in addition to the magnificent Château de Chambord—whose park and forest are open to the public free of charge—you’ll find natural swimming spots, swimming pools, canoeing and kayaking, an equestrian center, boat tours, fishing, and the Maison de la Loire… and a little further away, Blois, its castle, and the Maison de la Magie; Chaumont-sur-Loire and its garden festival; Chenonceaux; and the famous Beauval Zoo!

This property is amazing! The house and gardens are so beautiful and so spacious. Catherine greeted us on arrival and walked us through the accommodation, and there was an information booklet avaliable with some handy reminders. She responded to messages very quickly and made us feel very welcome. The house felt larger than I was expecting from the photos and it was in pristine condition. Everything seemed brand new and attention to detail was excellent. There was plenty of cutlery and crockery, the bed was comfortable, the house was a very comfortable temperature and everything was spotlessly clean. We found the location excellent for exploring the surrounding area and enjoyed sitting outside watching the birds and the red squirrel. This tops other places we've rented and I wouldn't hesitate to return. Thank you Stéphane and Catherine.

This place was a godsend after 7 days in Paris. The quiet and the beauty of the property was gratefully absorbed. It is literally one of the best places I have stayed in and we would return often. Beds are good, kitchen well stocked and the house feels like a sanctuary I highly recommend

We had a lovely stay at Gite Le Diapason. The house is beautiful, very comfortable and so quiet.
Everything is as described and as shown in the pictures. Nice to know: There is an excellent hairdryer! The hosts are very available, warm and friendly! Any question or issue is handled immediately. We recommend with enthusiasm.
