All-inclusive holiday cottage (except tourist tax), in a detached house near a road. Ground-floor accommodation (just a few steps in the hallway).
All on the ground floor: 1 fully equipped kitchen. 1 separate WC. 1 bathroom (bathtub, sink). 1 living/dining room (TV, stereo). 1 shower room (shower, sink, WC). 1 bedroom with two single beds (90x190 cm) that can be joined together. 1 bedroom with a double bed (140x190 cm). 1 laundry room.
Outside: enclosed garden, terrace with garden furniture, gas griddle, pergola. Parking available on the property (several cars).
Pets welcome (except in the bedrooms). Wi-Fi. Non-smoking accommodation. Welcome to Gîte du Marais, located in Thoury, a town in the Loir-et-Cher department, less than 10 minutes from the magnificent Chambord estate, with its Château, a true architectural masterpiece, nestled in the heart of the largest enclosed forest in France. You are also about thirty minutes from the city of Blois, a city rich in art and history, the Château de Cheverny (which inspired the "Tintin" series), and the more secluded Châteaux of Villesavin and Beauregard. Less than an hour away, don't miss the stunning gardens of the Domaine de Chaumont-sur-Loire!
The region abounds with cycling routes and hiking trails, as well as local delicacies (wines, goat cheeses, Chambord biscuits, etc.). Wonderful discoveries await you in the Loire Valley!
