All on the ground floor: 1 equipped kitchen. 1 separate toilet. 1 bathroom (bathtub, sink). 1 living room (TV, stereo). 1 shower room (shower, sink, toilet). 1 bedroom with two twin beds (90x190 cm). 1 bedroom with a double bed (140x190 cm). 1 laundry room.
Outside: enclosed garden, terrace with garden furniture, gas grill, and arbour. Parking is available inside the property (several cars can be accommodated).
Pets welcome (except in the bedrooms). Wi-Fi. Non-smoking accommodation. Welcome to the Gîte du Marais located in Thoury, a commune in the Loir-et-Cher region, less than 10 minutes from the superb Chambord estate, with its Château, a true architectural masterpiece, nestled in the heart of the largest enclosed forest in France. You are also about thirty minutes from the city of Blois, a town rich in art and history, the Château de Cheverny (which inspired the film "Tintin"), and the more discreet Châteaux of Villesavin and Beauregard. Less than an hour away, don't miss the superb gardens of the Chaumont-sur-Loire estate!
The region is full of cycling and hiking trails, as well as local delicacies (wines, goat cheeses, Chambord biscuits, etc.). Wonderful discoveries await you in the Loire Valley!
