About this house rental

Close to sailing, water skiing, and more, this family-friendly vacation home brings it all within reach. Jump into your car and make short work of the 13-minute drive to Lake Guerlédan or the 20-minute drive to L'Abbaye Notre Dame de Bon Repos (and enjoy the property's convenient onsite parking in the meantime).

After you return to this 3229-sq-ft vacation home, you can unwind by the heated pool or sip a drink in the garden; you may also like the deck or patio and firepit. As for the great indoors, you can try your hand at foosball and table tennis, or enjoy the free WiFi, TV, and stereo.

As you settle into this 4-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom rental, you'll find a living room, a BBQ grill, and a fireplace. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, a stovetop, and a refrigerator, as well as a coffee maker, an electric kettle, and a microwave. The farm house is in a very rural location, we were looking for a quiet situation for our whole family to come together and this was exactly what we hoped for. There really is nothing around you except fields and definitely no neighbouring properties. There was plenty of games for the children and adults to share and even though our first week was very wet everyone had a fantastic time. The rooms were very large so everyone had lots of space, the bedrooms were huge and each had lots of beds although very limited clothes storage. The pool was wonderful as was the outside barn and seating area. A few extra sun loungers or relaxing chairs would have been a bonus for the sunny days as at times all six adults would have liked to relax by the pool. But the house was excellently equipped in all other ways with plenty of crockery etc. This was good because there were very few restaurants or bars open in the area so we did a lot of cooking. Most were closed for August including the one in the Le Quillio. The nearest shops are a 10mins drive away. The owners were extremely helpful and welcoming. This is a very old property so one should expect slightly temperamental plumbing but it has so much charm and character it is a joy to stay in.
