French B&B In Style
Delightful! The charming building, wonderful.gardens and truly exceptional breakfast gave our short stay real sparkle. As a period priority the atmosphere was spot on. The room and facilities were super clean as well. French B&B at its best.
Oh - this is tricky. Not much to say. Maybe an extra bedside light or one or two extras like that would help for longer stays. But honestly - we had zero complaints.

The ideal break from southern France to England.
Lovely settings. This is the perfect break if you are travelling from southern France to England and want a peaceful rest. It's great. In fact, it is the perfect break, full stop.

A great choice for a stop over
Gorgeous house in a peaceful, romantic setting and perfect location for us - we needed a stop off on the long drive down to the alps and this was 2 hours south of Calais just off the motorway. The hosts were very helpful - recommended parc d’Isle to go to during the day with kids (park, zoo and ‘beach’ on the river) and a family friendly place to eat nearby. Family room was ideal for four (two adults, 7yr old and 20 month old)
Breakfast was a little pricey for two young kids (who barely ate anything 😂)

So, so disappointed with this accommodation. Cannot understand how it can be Rated as Fabulous.
Young man who met us at the property, Son of the owners was very pleasant and showed us our room. He did offer us another adjacent room as he pointed out the Shower Head was not working. We decided to stay with our booked room as the alternative was not as nice and appeared dark inside. The bedroom was very clean, as was the bedding and the Bathroom was also was also clean.
No coffee facilities in the room. Just outside was a small table with a kettle, mugs and a Jar of Nescafe Granules that was virtually empty. No milk and could not see a plug by the table for the kettle. The furnishings were very old and period style which was OK but could not open the wardrobe door even if we had wanted to. The curtains were old and torn. A very old early 1900's radio did not work. An extremely small TV which did not work. The bath plug would not raise so could not empty the bath water. Although the toilet was clean and flushed with lots of water it would not always clear away any matter. Cannot rate the Breakfast as we left early to catch a Shuttle which we booked that morning to avoid our Ferry Crossing Dover on a rough sea.
