Built in 2020, the house is located in the village of Gorgast, right in the heart of the Oderbruch region, making it an ideal starting point for extended day trips or a stopover on longer tours. It is equipped with a bathroom with shower, a fully equipped kitchen, a double bed, a sleeper sofa, a private outdoor area with a seating area and barbecue facilities, a parking space, a lockable bike storage area, a TV, and Wi-Fi. During construction, artificial building materials were deliberately avoided, which is evident in the pleasant indoor climate in both winter and summer (though if it does get too warm, there’s air conditioning ;) ).
It is located about 150 meters from the “Alte Oder,” which, thanks to its unspoiled natural beauty, is ideal for canoeing or rowing trips, and—with its abundance of fish—for fishing excursions (a recreational fishing license can be purchased nearby). Swimming is also possible from the shore or from a boat. A small swimming spot is about 150 meters from the front door. A rowboat, including a ladder for swimming or fishing trips, can be provided. A canoe rental is within walking distance (approx. 1 km). Furthermore, the region offers many opportunities for day trips (Fort Gorgast, Küstrin Fortress, the “Children of Golzow” Museum, bike tours, hikes, etc.).
There are places to buy groceries right in town (bakery, butcher, corner store); supermarkets are accessible by bike or car.

Please note that there is no physical separation between the sleeping and living areas! Additionally, we ask that you provide your own bed linens and bath towels.
