Charming cottage in the west of France with its own green space and close to all kinds of excursions.
This modern wooden built house offers you and your family plenty of space to spread out and fully enjoy the French summer. In the well-distributed and spacious cottage you can look forward to the quiet morning hours at breakfast and sunrise, while during the day you have private garden with wooden veranda. Thus, you can enjoy sunbathing, long walks or enjoy the evening hours with a freshly caught fish on the grill together in a pleasant atmosphere with your loved ones. Even beaches like "Plage de Poulguen" are only 6 km or Kéroun, a fine sandy beach, 6.9 km away from you.
This bright cottage, furnished with high quality furniture, is located in a commune of the well-known Brittany, not far from cultural and activity-rich excursions. You may want to wander through the wonderful towns of the western French region and enjoy the national cuisine and its atmosphere, so the two larger cities of Lorient (34 minutes by car) and Quimperlé are only about 20 minutes away by car. If you are more athletic, there are also marked hiking and mountain biking trails nearby. There is also a year-round local market every Tuesday and Saturday morning.

A great place to stay, chic and tastefully decorated.
Unfortunately, the crockery and cutlery were inappropriately cheap and indiscriminately put together. Judging by the high-quality accommodation and beautiful furniture, we did not understand why savings were made there.
Overall, however, a wonderful and very nice place to stay

Die Ruhe haben wir am meisten genossen. Wir konnten hier eine Auszeit für Leib uns Seele erleben. Besonders die schöne Terrasse haben wir viel genutzt.
Das Haus ist gemütlich und einladend. Sehr sauber. Grundsätzlich ist alles da, was man braucht - allerdings an der einen oder anderen Stelle etwas schmal ausgestattet: so gibt es nur drei große Teller und überhaupt keine Weingläser ... Aber darüber konnten wir uns leicht hinweghelfen.
Schwierig war bei der Anreise, das Haus zu finden, da die Adresse in Google-Maps nicht mit der tatsächlichen Lage übereinstimmt. Das Haus liegt in einer Seitenstraße auf der anderen Seite etwas südlicher als der Karteneintrag. (Koordinaten: N 47,79483⁰, W 3,62473⁰) Erst Dank freundlicher Hilfe eines netten Menschen sind wir nach einigem Suchen fündig geworden ...
Die Lage hat uns gut gefallen. In 15-20 min ist man auf der Schnellstraße D116 und dann rasch in beiden Richtungen unterwegs.
Im Hafen von Merrien (5 min) gibt es allerbeste Austern, in Doelan (10 min) dreimal die Woche frische Langustines. Das Nachbardorf Clohars-Carnoet bietet ein Fischgeschäft, Metzgereien, Bäckereien und Supermarkt. Der Markt in Moelan dienstags ist großartig.
Der Küstenwanderweg GR34 lässt sich in dieser Region in Abschnitten sehr gut bewandern und ist ein Erlebnis.
In 10 min ist man zu Fuß durch die schöne Landschaft zum Meeresarm von Merrien gelaufen und damit quasi "am Meer".
Kurz: Wir waren in jeder Hinsicht begeistert und würden/werden auf jeden Fall wieder in dieses Haus kommen!
