Wonderful apartment in a wonderful location

The apartment is spacious and well equipped. The location is amazing. The parking worked well for us (there are 4 spaces for 5 apartments). I can highly recommend Residence du Phare. The washing machine was a godsend as this was the second part of a longer break. The instructions from our hosts were perfect, and although we had no need to contact them, the provision of contact details was most welcome. I would love to stay here again as Sainte Marine has become one of my new most favourite places

I found the bed a little uncomfortable,but that is probably me. Ensuring sufficient hot water was a carefully choreographed daily routine.

A Fantastic Find

Delightful apartment, clean and comfortable with lots of natural light. Well appointed throughout with comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen. Perfect location and great on site parking and bike storage. Good instructions and when a house opposite held an all night party (still going at 8am the next morning) the back bedroom was amazingly sound proofed!

The coffee maker! I hate those pods machines; they make horrible coffee and are environment-unfriendly. Bring back cafetières!! Everything else was absolutely perfect though 🙂.

Very nice, modern apartment in Sainte Marine

Very nice, clean apartment on two floors, ideal for families Getting the keys is very easy (you get a code via email) Modern, nice furniture, lots of space, nice ambiance Parking was always available Laundry machine available In a nice smsll village with a few restaurants, a very good bakery and a couple of very nice beaches nearby, for supermarket & other shops a car is needed.

Terrace floor was quite dirty, no outdoor broom available. Not much privacy outside as terraces of rear apartments are next to each other. Could not lower the blinds of one of the roof windows as the remote control was missing, which heated up the apartment during the day. Ground floor bedroom window door cannot be left open at night as it opens to the unsecured terrace. Sainte Marine is nice, yet not very central - there is a ferry to the bigger town Benodet (where the boats leave for iles de glenan), but it stops early in the evening, so no option to go for Dinner or getting back late from iles de glenan by ferry - a car is needed.

We loved it and we will be back. Saint Marine was the perfect town for our short vacation.

New appartment, close to the very small harbour and restaurants. Very clean, very nice host

although the fish store is good to have next door, the smell and noise in the morning was not always the best. It did not bother us too much as one of the bedrooms in the back were far away from the noise which the host in the beginning told us as well.

Schön, ruhig, modern - mit kleinem Wermutstropfen

Das Apartment bietet sehr viel Platz, ist sehr modern eingerichtet und es gab alles, was wir brauchten, da haben wir nichts vermisst. Die Lage in zweiter Reihe an der Bucht ist optimal, auch gut für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Auch die Holzterrasse ist sehr groß und ruhig. Den Grill konnten wir leider nicht benutzen, der war total verrostet und schmutzig.

Die Regeln, die man beim Auszug beachten muss, empfand ich teilweise als Zumutung und haben meine Urlaubsstimmung schon sehr getrübt. Zumal wenn ich an die doch recht hohe Reinigungspauschale denke, die wir gezahlt haben. Daher einen Punkt Abzug.

Une très bonne adresse

Nous y avons passé 15 jours et avons séjourné une semaine dans deux gîtes différents. Un sur le devant (le « Nid », tout en haut sur la photo) et « l’Eden », à l’arrière de ce bâtiment.) L’ensemble est refait à neuf, c’est très confortable, moderne, très bien équipé (store, volets roulants, cuisine…) et propre. La localisation est très appréciable, dans un petit port très charmant, en face de Benodet (il y a un système de navette en bateau si besoin). On peut être autonome sans voiture quelques temps : sur place il y a quelques restaurants, crêperies, pizzérias, boulangerie, une super épicerie, un marché hebdomadaire et l’office de tourisme. Le tout en cinq minutes à pied. Pour la plage praticable la plus proche il faut compter environ 20 minutes de marche. Il y a toujours moyen de trouver facilement à se garer, soit devant soit à proximité du logement. L’Eden est bien grand, très bien conçu et optimisé (bravo l’architecte). La terrasse est appréciable par beau temps. Avantage : il est à l’arrière et donc plus au calme. Le Nid offre trois jolies vues (trois grandes fenêtres dont une depuis une chambre) sur le port de Sainte Marine. Le service de conciergerie (pour le ménage) est très serviable.

Inconvénients majeurs du Nid : le bruit des scooters, camions de livraison pour les restaurants et la poissonnerie juste à côté du bâtiment. Quand il fait chaud, avec les fenêtres ouvertes c’est pénible. Il manque des rideaux ou un système pour être dans l’intimité dans la salle de bain et aux toilettes. 😳 Les canapés ne sont pas malheureusement pas confortables du tout. À ce jour, pour l’Eden, il manque un volet roulant au Velux de l’étage pour pouvoir se prémunir de la chaleur en été. Pour la literie, on pourrait monter en gamme (matelas et oreillers). Les avantages l’emportent largement sur les inconvénients.

Es hat eine reibungslose Komunikation vor der Anreise stattgefunden. Wir erhielten Tipps für die Umgebung, Restaurants und den Code für die Schlüsselbox. Kleine Präsente mit regionalen Produkten waren auch vorhanden. Sehr gute Küchenausstattung!!

Die Betten waren recht weich/durchgelegen, was aber vermutlich Gewohnheit oder Geschmacksache ist. Die Handtücher haben wir nach einer Woche selbst gewaschen.
