The 2-room vacation apartment is located in a half-timbered house in the Eifel region. The hosts live there themselves.
A spacious entryway with beautiful tile flooring leads to a roomy
kitchen-living room with a solid-wood kitchenette equipped with a stove, oven,
dishwasher, and refrigerator, including a kettle, coffee maker, and toaster. A large kitchen table and chairs are also made of solid wood.
In the living area, the large couch can also be used as a sleeper sofa for 2 children or 1 adult.
Through a large patio door, guests enter a small front yard with patio furniture.
The bedroom, featuring a double bed and a wardrobe, has oak parquet flooring.
In addition to a spacious, wheelchair-accessible bathroom with a shower, toilet, and hair dryer, there is also a separate restroom.
The apartment measures 58 m².
A lockable garage is available for bicycles or motorcycles.
Free parking is available nearby.
Just around the corner, there is a playground and a sports field with a soccer field.
From the vacation rental, you can set out directly on hikes through the beautiful forest and meadow landscape.
Steckenborn is a village in the Simmerath National Park municipality.
The Rurtalsperre reservoir is right on our doorstep. The Hohes Venn Nature Reserve is also nearby.
Optionally, we offer canoe rentals, as well as a shuttle to the Eifelsteig and Wildnistrail hiking trails in the Eifel National Park; guided hikes in the national park region are also available upon request.

Walter and Rita were kind and helpful in all possible ways. We learned about the history of the place, and everything was really speckles and in very good order. We loved the very well equipped kitchen with coffeemaker, water cooker, good knives and pots, and all other amenities one might need, plus info material on the region for all wishes. We liked the neighbourhood which is great for walks through nature. Our favorite attraction in proximity was the Three Countries Point and the maze there. If there's one thing missing in Steckenborn, it's the shopping and dining options in the village. Not an issue for us, as we brought all we needed.
