About this villa rental
The immaculately maintained, detached private villa Mariposa is located in the gated Su Solianu residential complex, which features five detached villas on a hill with southern views and a view of the sea above the idyllic Porto Ottiolu marina.
At the marina, which is adjacent to a beautiful sandy beach, you’ll find everything you need: various restaurants, bars, a kiosk, a supermarket, boutiques, and a pharmacy.
The nearest large white-sand beaches in Budoni and San Teodoro (La Cinta) are approximately 4 km away. The beach at Budoni can also be reached on foot along the coast in about 40 minutes. On the beach, you’ll find various restaurants where you can enjoy Mediterranean cuisine. The surrounding area is ideal for horseback riding, windsurfing, scuba diving, and golf.
The Sardinian-style villa is situated on a 1,000 m² private lot with a private, heated saltwater pool, an outdoor shower, 6 lounge chairs, a lounge area, and umbrellas. The dining area can be enclosed with glass and is connected to the additional outdoor kitchen. The pool is open and heated from May through the end of October.
The living area features a sofa nook with a view of the pool and the sea and also includes a fully equipped kitchen. There is also a small outdoor kitchen with a refrigerator, sink, and large gas grill.
3 bedrooms (160/190), one of which is accessible via an outdoor staircase
3 bathrooms with shower/toilet.
Air conditioners (cooling/heating)/smoke detectors and mosquito screens in every room.

2 private parking spaces right next to the house. The property is enclosed by a Sardinian stone wall and an entrance gate.
In the lounge by the saltwater pool, you can enjoy a glass of fine Sardinian wine while taking in the breathtaking view of the sea and the surrounding mountains in the Mediterranean landscape.
Children ages 10 and up are welcome. Not suitable for younger children, as the uncovered pool is located directly in front of the house.
A car is recommended and can be rented at the airport.
The villa is available for rent from May through the end of October for a maximum of 6 people.
Pets are not allowed.
Electricity is included. Please remember to turn off the air conditioners when you leave the villa!!!

My wife and I stayed at Villa Mariposa for 10 nights with our 2 young boys. The Villa was fantastic in a quiet rural location but only 5 minutes drive from the lively towns of Ottiolu, San Teodoro and Budoni. It’s part of a small boutique secure complex of 4 or 5 villas. The pool was perfect for us all.
Claudia the owner was very kind and easily contactable as was Graziella who organised our check in/out.
Lovely place. Recommend to anyone.

We have just spent a fabulous week in this fantastic villa. The sea views are amazing and the pool was brilliant for our teenagers. A car is needed to visit the lovely beaches.
The check in process and the stay was made easy by the host and also by the lovely Graziella who is on hand to help with everything.
We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday thanks to the stay in the villa and how it has everything you will need, including hairdryers, towels and games!!
