"Gipper" Alpine Hut (self-catering) – a romantic log cabin located about 4 km above Heiligenblut, at an elevation of 1,700 meters on the Gipperalm, in the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park, Parking and a small stream next to the cabin
In winter, winter tires and snow chains are required!

Please keep in mind before booking that you are booking an alpine cabin in the mountains—high up on the mountain! The drive there can sometimes be an adventure—there’s no highway leading to the cabin. In winter, however, we do not clear the path to the cabin around the clock. In case of heavy snowfall or snowdrifts, we must wait for the weather to calm down before clearing the path! As a result, it may happen that you end up spending a day at the cabin… please be sure to take this into account before booking!

Furthermore, we do not accept bachelor/bachelorette parties, rural youth groups, excessive party weekends, groups of young people who drink excessively, or similar gatherings! If your group even remotely resembles any of these, we ask that you book another accommodation—thank you very much for your understanding!!!

“Gipper” Alpine Cabin (self-catering) – featuring an entryway, a large, cozy kitchen-living room with a wood-burning stove, electric stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, cooking and dining utensils, 1 single room, 1 double room, 1 additional double room connected via a staircase to 1 four-bed room (not separated by doors or a wall), bathroom with shower/toilet, balcony, and large sun-facing terrace



On-site costs: Utilities: Electricity based on usage (€0.50/kWh, approx. €150–€300/week)Pets allowed upon request (cost: €11 per day). Bed linens and towels can either be brought from home or rented.Rental rates: Bed linens—€6.60 per person; Towels—€4.40 per person



Check-in is available from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and check-out is from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
