About this apartment rental
The private outdoor area is particularly lovely: a terrace with patio furniture invites you to relax outdoors, and the garden offers additional opportunities to enjoy quiet moments on your side of the island. A grill is available for barbecue enthusiasts, allowing you to prepare your meals flexibly. If you’re traveling with your family, the vacation rental is also a great choice: children are welcome, and a high chair and a crib are provided. For outings and planning your day, shopping options are only about 50 m away; the sea is approximately 1,100 m away, and the beach is about 800 m away. Dining out is convenient, as the restaurant is about 1,100 m away. Public transportation is accessible within about 20 m, and the ferry is also about 3,000 m away.
In addition to its location, the property features its own private parking space (1 spot) right next to the house. Pets are allowed, but limited to a maximum of 2 animals, so you can easily plan a vacation with your four-legged family member. A vacuum cleaner, along with other kitchen utensils, dishes, silverware, and dish towels, are provided so you can make your stay comfortable right from the start. With heating and hot water, the apartment is comfortable even outside the peak season. If you’re looking for a cozy, well-equipped vacation rental in a village setting, close to the beach, and with plenty of everyday comforts, the “Eerdglüper” is the perfect base for your next stay.

This traditional Frisian cottage with a thatched roof, typical of the island, was built in 1867. The main part of the house still stands today. Starting in 1996, a modern addition was built behind the house. This created a total of seven vacation apartments under thatched roofs.
The family-friendly furnishings delight moms, while the large playground with a swing and play equipment delights the little ones. And the barbecue area, complete with a large swivel grill and a gazebo, awaits Dad.
Sheltered from the wind behind the house, you’ll find a large terrace with patio furniture, lounge chairs, and beach chairs (April–October). In the huge garden, there are several additional seating areas, beach chairs, a daybed, an on-site property scavenger hunt, and the “Sundowner Lounge” with a beautiful view across the fields toward the sunset. There are also various games and activities for children and adults: a giant trampoline, a barbecue area, the throwing and skill game “Corn Hole,” a swing, a sandbox, and Amrum’s first outdoor Scrabble!
Another attraction in the garden is the “Hasenbaudraufschaubau”: a spacious, covered seating area with a hanging swing, electrical outlet, and a working stove.
In the hallway leading to the “Goodshenk,” “Eerdglüper,” and “Driiwfholt” apartments, a library and game room are available to all guests, young and old. You can borrow books, audiobooks, DVDs, puzzles, and board games for the whole family here free of charge.
In the building’s basement, there is a wide variety of children’s toys: a Brio train set, a car play mat, sand toys, building blocks, and wooden outdoor toys—all available to all guests. You’ll also find a coin-operated washing machine, a coin-operated dryer, an ironing board, and an iron for shared use.
Pets are welcome at the Friesenhaus Sanskiin.
One parking space is available for each apartment.
