Of course, the apartment is fully equipped with dishes and cutlery, kitchen utensils, trash cans, and dish towels. You can relax comfortably on the sofa corner with plenty of seating; a dining table is available for shared meals. This traditional Frisian house with a thatched roof, typical of the island, was built in 1867. The main part of the house still stands today. Starting in 1996, a modern addition was built behind the house. This created a total of seven vacation apartments under thatched roofs.

The family-friendly furnishings delight moms, while the large play area with a swing and playground equipment delights the little ones. And the barbecue area, complete with a large swivel grill and a pavilion, awaits Dad.
Sheltered from the wind behind the house, you’ll find a large terrace with patio furniture, lounge chairs, and beach chairs (April–October). In the huge garden, there are several additional seating areas, beach chairs, a daybed, a property-wide scavenger hunt, and the “Sundowner Lounge” with a beautiful view across the fields toward the sunset. There are also various games and activities for children and adults: a giant trampoline, a barbecue area, the throwing and skill game “Corn Hole,” a swing, a sandbox, and Amrum’s first outdoor Scrabble!
Another attraction in the garden is the “Hasenbaudraufschaubau”: a spacious, covered seating area with a hanging swing, electrical outlet, and a working stove.

In the hallway leading to the “Goodshenk,” “Eerdglüper,” and “Driiwfholt” apartments, a library and game room are available to all guests, young and old. You can borrow books, audiobooks, DVDs, puzzles, and board games for the whole family here free of charge.
