Awesome home in Saint-Pierre-de-Vassol

Appalling:1. Out of two toilets, only one was working, the other broken and must have been for some time. With 5 adults in our group this was not acceptable, especially as the working model was on the ground floor.2. No cleaning had been done prior to our visit and the Gites was filthy. I had to scrub it clean as soon as we arrived just so we could stay there.3. Privacy for those in the 3rd bedroom was impossible due to there being no door and only a net curtain between the room and the landing. Not suitable for two adults needing privacy and quiet sleep.4. Wifi was intermittent and most of the time, those who were having to work, had to go to a cafe with internet, Not easy in a small village without cafes.5. The 'pool' was a temporary structure that had not been cleaned or treated for a very long time. It was full of stagnant water, green and slimy, a perfect breeding ground for mosquitoes. No one came to attend to it and we had to empty it to avoid the smell, having been told to do this by the owner, through the agent, Novasol.6. Lighting was poor and visibility low after 5pm, especially when shutters had to be closed.7. The kitchen tap was difficult to use and close.8. The BBQ was inoperable, with no grill.9. The two bikes, which are advertised, were inaccessible, due to a combination lock.10. When we arrived there were only three mugs available for 5 people. The rest were found under each radiator in the gites and had to be scrubbed clean after having been there for a long time.
