About this house rental
A light-filled house for 2 people; pets are welcome.
The building is equipped with thermal insulation glass and a highly insulated, green flat roof. This ensures a balanced indoor climate. Heating is provided by a standalone air-to-air heat pump, which also handles additional climate control (cooling, dehumidifying, ventilating) as needed.
You’ll find modern furnishings that complement the floor-to-ceiling windows. An insect screen is installed on the bedroom window so you can enjoy plenty of fresh air. The bedroom windows can be darkened with pleated blinds.
You can park your bicycles in the shelter that belongs to the vacation home. You can charge your e-bikes here using the outdoor outlets. The terrace and garden area belonging to the house is fenced in, and the gate is lockable.
The vacation home is adjacent to the landlord’s residence; the landlord is happy to answer any questions you may have.
In the center of the neighborhood, you’ll find a Netto grocery store, all the essential local shops (pharmacy, bakery, pizzeria), doctors, hair salons, and an ATM.
The house is located in Löhne, in the Mennighüffen-Ostscheid neighborhood, on the town boundary with Bad Oeynhausen. The Blutwiese nature reserve is within walking distance. The banks of the Werre and Weser rivers are ideal for further walks or bike rides. The nearby spa towns, the Teutoburg Forest, the Wiehen Mountains, and the Kaiser Wilhelm Monument at Porta Westfalica are popular destinations for day trips.

Pluses:
We were able to reach various places within the Teutonberger Forest quickly.
The owner of the property was friendly and helped us out when our little dog escaped the fence by fixing it so she could not get out again!
Nicely decorated property and the kitchen was well equipped.
Things we noticed:
Seating arrangement could have been more comfortable but was adequate. We were not able to watch Netflix on the Television and sometimes the WiFi was not strong enough but as we were gone most of the day this was ok.
Overall we were pleased and would book this property again.
