About this apartment rental
Welcome to the Eulenstein family’s vacation rental at Glockenberg Vacation Park in Altenau!
We’ve made sure of your comfort. Modern furnishings and the west-facing balcony are the highlights of this apartment. Wi-Fi and a smart TV are available for cozy evenings. You can enjoy your breakfast right by the window or on the balcony, or wind down your evening with a nice glass of wine. A charming view of the vacation park, the Harz forests and mountains, unspoiled nature, tranquility, the thermal spa, and hikes through the mountains will give you the energy you need for everyday life.
The children’s room has also been thoughtfully furnished: with a small desk and a bunk bed measuring 85 x 190 cm, this small space can be used in a variety of ways—as a children’s room or even as a home office.
The large bed in the sleeping area, measuring 180 x 200 cm, ensures a restful night’s sleep.
In the open kitchen, you’ll find everything you need for cooking: in addition to a coffee maker and a kettle, there’s a refrigerator (with a 3-star freezer compartment), a 2-burner ceramic cooktop, a dishwasher, toaster, microwave, mini-oven, and an exhaust hood, as well as plenty of kitchen utensils and dishes to prepare a delicious meal.
The area is a great starting point for excursions and hikes. You can visit the “Heißer Brocken” Crystal Thermal Baths with their thermal brine pools and sauna area (it’s about 300 m away). The historic town of Goslar, about 20–25 km away, is also worth a visit. There are hiking trails and ski slopes here. There’s plenty for kids to do, too: there are many playgrounds in the area.

Wir haben mit vier Personen drei Nächte in der Wohnung verbracht und waren sehr angetan. Auf wenig Raum ist dort eine sehr gemütliche Wohnung, in der sich mehrere Personen sehr gut aufhalten können. Mein Mann hat sogar seine Vorlesungen per Video aus dem Kinderzimmer gestreamt. Das WLAN war sehr gut. Toller Blick, gemütliche Couch, ein Smart-TV inklusive Zugang zu Netflix, Prime Video und Youtube. Die Kinder haben es geliebt. Die Küche ist etwas eng, aber wenn einer dort arbeitet und der andere den Tisch deckt etc. , klappt es prima. Die Ausstattung der Küche war sehr gut.

Tolle Wohnung, klein aber fein. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und alles war vorhanden, was man braucht. Sogar frische Blumen standen auf dem Tisch. Altenau ist ein toller Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge. Infomappe hat viele Möglichkeiten für Familienausflüge. Sehr zu empfehlen 👍

Insgesamt gut, jedoch waren die Matratzen zu weich, das Schlafzimmer leider nicht wirklich vom Wohnbereich getrennt und kein Radio/CD-Player vorhanden.
