The completion of the modernization of our apartment in June, 2015.
Bright, light-flooded, modern and high-quality equipped you can spend your holiday here in peace. The apartment with a wonderful panoramic view from the balcony, offers many amenities,
Here you can spend a relaxing holiday with up to 4 people. (max 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children)
Allergy friendly, no carpets - unfortunately, no pets are possible.

-1 Room with bed for 2 people (convertible bed Hemnes) and TV and foldable
writing desk
-1 Kitchen with dishwasher, oven, extractor hood, 2 ring ceramic hob,

-balcony With garden furniture and parasol

In the immediate vicinity of the apartment (5 min. Walk) you will find the spa 'Hot chunks' and the entrances to the curative climate and trekking paths (peat, chunks), very well signposted.
In summer there is the possibility in the forest pool Okerteich (admission free) in Altenau bathe (shallow parts and catering available).
For climbing there is the Marie wall at the Okertal.
Paddling and whitewater rafting are available on the Oker, in the immediate vicinity.
Altenau is a great starting point for bikers, hikers, bikers and walkers.
The old imperial city of Goslar (about 20km) is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and well worth a visit in summer and winter, the Christmas Market of Goslar is one of the most beautiful in Germany and enjoys great popularity with its visitors.
Cross country ski, starting in Altenau at the Rose and the ski lift and the sledding hill at the Rose and the healthy climate of winter hiking trails, a central and ringing within walking distance. Also the network of trails in Sonneberg, Braunlage and St. Andreasberg there are short distances by car. The journeys go there are always very well cleared out.
A halls - swimming pool with sauna and all major food discounters are in Clausthal Zellerfeld, in about 8km distance.

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Es war alles vorhanden was wir brauchten und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und sauber.

Eine wirklich sehr schön und liebevoll eingerichtete Ferienwohnung mit modernem Wohlfühlambiente. Absolut weiterempfehlenswert. Wenn man Kritik vorbringen möchte, wären hier lediglich die Lage der Wohnung und das nicht vorhandene Gäste-WLAN zu erwähnen. Daher statt 5 Sterne , lediglich 4 Sterne als Gesamtbewertung.

Für 4 Personen ist die Wohnung fast ein wenig zu klein. Vor allem die Küchenzeile und das Bad sind sehr klein.
Das Waschbecken ist ein wenig schief angebaut und der Wasserhahn ragt nicht weit genug in das Waschbecken hinein. So gelangt beim auch beim "vorsichtigen" Hände waschen, Wasser auf die Ablagefläche vom Waschbecken und läuft linkes an der Wand hinunter. Es ist ständig ein Wasserfleck links unten auf dem Fußboden. Außerdem fehlt in der heutihen Zeit WLAN oder Internet aus der Steckdose. Die Küche ist sehr beengt. Keine Abstellmöglichkeiten. Stellt manetwas vor dem Kühlschrank ab, bekommt man die Kühlschranktür nicht ganz auf. Die oberen Schränke sind nur von Personen ab 1,80 m erreichbar. Die Geschirrausstattung ist nicht sehr komfortabel. Die Einstellungen am Backofen sind von einer kleineren Person nicht zu ersehen.
Die Wohnung macht ansonsten einen sehr gepflegten Eindruck.
