"Altes Pfarrhaus" - My vacation home in the Eifel / hay sauna

The 100-year-old parsonage underwent a complete renovation that took over a year. We’ve been welcoming guests since May 2022. Whether you’re traveling with family or friends, in the Eifel village of Berk, right in the heart of the Eifel, you’ll find the change of pace you’re looking for!
Spanning over 200 square meters across 3 floors, you’ll find 7 bedrooms for 13 people with high-quality box-spring beds, as well as 3 bathrooms with showers and toilets. One bedroom has its own bathroom with a toilet.
In the open-concept kitchen and living area, there’s room for everyone at the large oak table, or you can cook together in the kitchen. Of course, there’s also a flat-screen TV with internet access in the living room.
From the kitchen, you can step out onto the newly built 25-square-meter terrace. A staircase provides direct access to the 800-square-meter garden with a barbecue area and a barrel sauna, which can be booked separately. Price for the barrel sauna: Fri–Sun 75.00 euros; each additional day 50.00 euros. We don’t want to unnecessarily increase the accommodation price for guests who don’t wish to use the sauna, so the sauna is billed separately. The price is the same regardless of the number of guests.

A trip to the nearby wildlife park in Hellenthal is a popular destination for families.
Explore the medieval town center in Kronenburg, just 4 km away. Ideal for groups staying with us only on weekends. A circular hiking trail of about 12 km (which can also be shortened to 8 km) takes you through the beautiful Eifel countryside. There are some nice places to stop for a bite to eat in Kronenburg. Or perhaps an alpaca hike in Schmidtheim, 14 km away.
