About this apartment rental
The MINNIES-SCHIEFERTRAUM vacation home on Nussbaumallee in Brauneberg on the Moselle is a winegrower’s house that’s about 200 years old. The typical half-timbered design, which is carried through in a unique way in the interior design, gives the vacation home a character all its own. Truly—a dream! Ideal for up to 5 people, whether wine lovers, hikers, cyclists, families, groups, or anyone who appreciates a stylish atmosphere.
Our romantic and rustic vacation home, MINNIES-SCHIEFERTRAUM, is approximately 170 square meters in size. We ourselves live in a separate apartment on the top floor.
Please note that our two female cats live with us in our apartment. They do not have access to the vacation rental, but they are free to roam outdoors, and you may occasionally encounter them in the courtyard.
Approximately 70 square meters are available for rent, distributed as follows on the first floor:
- 1 double bedroom with private bathroom (shower and toilet)
- 1 single bedroom
- 1 living/dining area (“Schieferraum”) with a sleeper sofa for 2 people
- 1 fully equipped kitchen
- 1 additional bathroom (shower and toilet), exclusively for the vacation rental, located in the shared hallway area
– a large furnished courtyard with a view of the Brauneberg is also at your disposal
The covered courtyard, located directly on the bike path, is a cozy place to relax, complete with barbecue facilities. The highlight is the view of the Moselle River, located just 100 m away. At the rear of the house, there is a barn that offers ample space for bicycles or motorcycles. Car parking spaces are available directly behind the house—toward the Moselle riverbank.
The romantic town of Bernkastel-Kues, as well as other nearby towns, are easily accessible by bike or on foot. A passenger boat dock is located about 500 m away. The amenities are ideal: right near the house, there’s a bakery, several restaurants, wine taverns, a supermarket, and a municipal bike rental service.
