The accommodation was spotlessly clean and very homely and comfortable. Lovely views of the lough and very well located for our stay. Catherine was a really lovely host and served a delicious cooked breakfast. Can't forget to mention Molly, beautiful fluffy and friendly labradoodle!

The house was lovely

No one in-house only for one other guest that we just happened to bump into we were finding hard to find house. As the profile of the accommodation maje it look like the house is on its own .The guest showed us how to enter code for the door. . Owner on holiday. In Spain Went you book a bnb you expect someone there to greet you. Also, you expect breakfast to be included. Especially when you read reviews. Saying great host great breakfast, and very welcoming , very helpful. We had totally the opposite experience. Yes, the house is lovely. But been christmas and been a bnb you would expect a breakfast and a christmas tree. A phone call to the owner where we were informed she didn't do breakfast and she was in Spain. After a long conversation, the only way we were getting breakfast was if we paid extra for it p/p p/d . The owner organises for a family member to make breakfast for us. The other guest was also unhappy She was staying for two nights . Myself and my husband was staying 4 The other guest checked out. However, was able to reenter the house that night using the key pad on the door. As she had forgotten something. The guest was a very friendly person. But after they left, it got us thinking that she shouldn't have been able to reenter the house. It made us nervous the thoughts that this could happen. Also, we were woken up at 2.35 am. by a knocking on a door. Which really frightened myself and my husband. We made a decision to leave the next day. I just want to say the family member that came to cook breakfast. Was so nice and friendly. And helpful. But she was also shocked that a guest who had checked out around 10.30 am was able to reenter the house at approximately 10 30 pm . We would have thought any guest once checked out shouldn't have been able to. Given the same code to each guest should be .

Wonderful stay with a lovely host

The entire house was very well organised and clean. It’d get a perfect BnB if you’re a group of friends or a family. The host was very nice and friendly. They’re very accommodating and helpful with our requests, especially with the vegetarian breakfast options. The bed was very comfortable and the bathrooms are very neat. Highly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Meadows B&B. We would definitely stay here again.

The breakfast was excellent, and was tailored to our wishes. Host and hostess were phenomenal. They even helped us reserve a table at a Moville restaurant. Location was excellent, as we were touring Inishowen. The home was easy to find, right on the main road.

The full size bed was a bit cramped for the two of us.

This is my 2nd stay at The Meadows. Catherine is a perfect host, her home is beautiful and all facilities are comfortable. Breakfast was great and she was able to cater for my gluten free diet requirements. Couldn't ask for any more!

We were looked after extremely well. Pat was really helpful and did a great job. Everything was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was very good.

The bathroom in our room had a sloping ceiling which meant there was a very low head height in places. It was quite awkward to manoeuvre round the facilities.

Beautiful gem of a house and host!

Beautiful property in an amazing location. Catherine provided everything we needed for our stay and was so accommodating of our schedule.. The house was spotless throughout and our room was so comfortable. A beautiful breakfast was provided (including catering for .my gluten free diet) and Catherine is a lovely, friendly lady too.

The property owner so cruel , No polite , when we’re talking and enjoying the one room , the land lady came to 11.30pm came to our room and shouted to us , we’re staying in apartment in Belfast, we went enjoy our time in Ireland, for and my 39th wedding anniversary celebration , but disappointed at 11.30pm, actually I entered 4 adults and 1 child ( 2years old) I applied, the land lady asking for money for kid , I already paid 15 euro , I am booking hotel and B&B since long time with Booking .Com, first time this happened. we went for enjoy the time, but we couldn’t.

When booking via Booking.com. it was not clear the room being offered in house was on 2nd floor and had no ensuite. . This would have been an issue for my 89 year old mother if the hostess had not offerred and had not been able to move us to a room on the first floor with the facilities required.

The Point bar is about 150 mts away, great food and drink and you don't have to worry about driving.

Breakfast was excellent and choice and service were great. This is a modern clean property with a beautiful light interior which I cant really fault at all.

What didn't I like is hard to answer, I suppose the slight slope to the front door may prove a little troublesome for someone over 90, otherwise I'm getting a headache trying to think of anything.
