About this villa rental
The GROTTA AZZURRA villa is the ideal choice for your vacation.
It is located 400 meters from the sea, in a beautiful rocky cove with crystal-clear water (Marina di Novaglie), featuring a stunning natural pool with a sandy bottom that flows into the sea, created from a former small marina—a delight for young and old alike and very accessible for people with disabilities as well.
The villa is just a 5-minute drive from the first sandy beach in Santa Maria di Leuca.
The villa’s location is strategic, as it sits on the coastal road, allowing you to quickly reach Otranto (Adriatic coast), Gallipoli (Ionian coast), and the most beautiful seaside towns of southern Salento—all without having to drive through town centers, while enjoying the enchanting sea views.
The house is equipped with satellite TV in every room, FREE Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a microwave, mosquito screens on doors and windows, a barbecue for delicious grilled meals, and a wood-fired oven available to guests for baking homemade pizzas, bread, or cookies.
Upon request, we can organize cooking classes so you can learn how to make cookies, pizza, or homemade pasta.
The villa also features a relaxation area with a SWIMMING POOL equipped with a JACUZZI and WATERFALL, complete with night lighting and an outdoor shower with a water temperature control.
Only this area will be shared with another family
On the terrace, there is a sun deck with a gazebo and lounge chairs for sunbathing or enjoying the magnificent view (the Albanian mountains with breathtaking sunrises during the day and starry skies and the moon reflecting on the sea at night)

Adjacent to the villa is a small private vegetable garden with eggplants, bell peppers, tomatoes, lettuce, and various other vegetables available to guests—both to enjoy at their leisure and to experience the joy of working the land.

Via Grotto was like staying in a large beach house, very spacious with awesome views. Our host Enza was very helpful in guiding us to the house and responding to all our needs. The pool area is incredible and private. The house is a 10 minute walk to several really cool sea-side bars and restaurants with great views. Driving along the sea to get there was really fun.

We truly enjoyed our stay. Enza and her husband welcomed us after a long drive with food in the cupboard and fruit and drinks in the refrigerator. It was truly appreciated. She also sent us links for places to visit, restaurants to dine/takeout, excursions to experience and nearby amenities. It was all very helpful during our stay. The house was very clean and has an amazing view of the sea and for early risers, you can witness a sunrise every morning. The pool was always kept clean. We hope to return again!

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable, maison typique avec une vue sur l’Adriatique incroyable ! Un accueil chaleureux, une maison propre et très pratique avec toutes les commodités. La jolie piscine est le plus, très appréciable en rentrant d’excursion !!!
