A delightful terraced farm cottage, The End Hoose is located on a working farm in a beautiful quiet location with views out over the fields, perfect to explore both the Scottish Borders and Northumberland.. Ground Floor:

Bathroom: Bath With Shower Attachment, Toilet

First Floor:

Bedroom 1: Kingsize (5ft) Bed

Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot, highchair and stairgates for top and bottom available on request. Small welcome pack. Rear enclosed, lawned garden with patio and garden furniture. Lockable Bike store. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. This is the ideal home awayfrom home for a family or couple or small group of friends looking to exploreand enjoy the plethora of activities and sites throughout the Scottish Bordersand North Northumberland. The farm in which the house is located is a mainly arable farm but also has a small flock of sheep andcattle. One of the crops is pumpkins, so October visitors will have the pick ofthe bunch. April visitors can visit the lambing shed by appointment and August to early October is a hive of action with harvest and sowing in full swing. The property features two spacious, comfortable bedrooms. The king sized bedroom with beautiful views out over the fields and a lovely corner to sit with a cuppa. The twin bedroom, has very comfortable single beds with room to play with toys or plenty room for two adults sharing. Both located on the upper floor, stairs are typical terrace cottage stairs, stairgates are available. On the ground floor there are featured beam ceilings. The main living space is spacious and comfortable, with two large sofas a TV and DVD player with draw full of DVDs, electric wood burner and acupboard full or books, jigsaws and board games. The kitchen will provide everything you’ll need to prepare and enjoy a hearty home cooked meal after your day’s exploring, plenty of room for four to sit round the table and a highchair provided. There are also many local pubs, award winning restaurants and take-a-ways within a short distant. A bathroom and separate shower room add a little practicality for those rushing around in the mornings. With a lockable bike store in the garden and easy wiped floors when entering the property it’s ok to have mucky boots here.

The cottage is perfectly situated to explore therich history and natural beauty of both the Scottish Borders and North Northumberland. Located 10 minutes awayby car, the town of Duns where you will find the world famous Jim Clark museum. The Union Chain Bridge the first suspension bridge in the country is 5 miles from the property with a honey farm and café alongside. The towns around the are steeped in history, Berwick-upon Tweed with its quaint streets and ramparts. Cold stream with its museum which delves into the history of the Cold stream Guards and the magnificent Hirsel Estate with its beautiful walks and tearoom.

Have a day at the horse races or visit the imposing Floors Castle in Kelso. Travel to see the Trapestry of Scotland in Galashiels. Both Paxton House and Manderson House are within 10 minutes of the property with their stunning houses and gardens to explore. Travel to Northumberland coastline where rugged cliffs and sandy beaches await. A little further you can visit world renowned Alnwick Castle and Garden or to Scotland’s capital city Edinburgh with all the attraction only an hour’s drive or take the train from Berwick-upon-tweed.

A beautiful and well presented cottage, located on a working farm. This only increased the appeal to us. Duns is a short drive away, we visited the Jim Clark museum, learned about the soldier bear.
