About this cottage rental
The Lodge is the former gatehouse to Spital House estate. It is all on one level and is bordered by woods on two sides and a large fully enclosed garden to the rear. There is an abundance of wildlife to see from the cottage and the fields to the rear have sheep, lambs and cows throughout the rear.

Amazing location in the border areas of Scotland, lovely home, fully equipped with everything you would ever need, and more. Extremely roomy, good wifi, a welcome cake and Shortbread, the grounds are really nice, even has a table and chairs to sit under the trees in, only 10 minutes drive from Berwick, loved it.

I don't think I have stayed in such a well equipped cottage. Everything I needed was there. Just like being at home. a very Cosy and homely place.

My husband and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Lodge. It’s a beautiful area - close to interesting sites, villages, and more.
