Casa Prado El Cardin
Located at the foot of the Sueve Mountain, along the route from Gijón to Covadonga, this place is sure to leave a lasting impression. 100% Views, Fresh Air, and Peace.
The house is comfortable and cozy, with a fresh and cheerful atmosphere. The decor is thoughtfully designed. The garden area features lounge chairs, a vegetable garden, fruit trees, a porch for enjoying summer nights, an outdoor gazebo with a bathroom and shower, a kitchen, and a barbecue.
The Cantabrian beaches, the Picos de Europa, and Covadonga are just a 30–35-minute drive away.
The space
The house, my “happy home,” is a typical Asturian country house, built of stone and renovated in the past. For me, it was love at first sight... I was captivated by the location… plenty of light, space, and views… I’ll never tire of them.
The house offers many nooks where you can stop and simply be, leaving everyday life behind. The main porch is ideal, with its sofa and armchairs, for spending a pleasant afternoon in good company or simply reading a good book. Or we can spend summer days under the gazebo porch… where we’ll find an outdoor kitchen, a bathroom with a shower, and a barbecue.
And of course, no visit is complete without a nap on a lounge chair in the garden…
On cooler afternoons, the first-floor living room with its large windows invites you to watch the clouds form over the valleys and mountains, or simply watch the raindrops fall.
The sofa can be converted into a comfortable sofa bed. The master bedroom invites you to rest... No noise… Sweet dreams!! The full bathroom is also located on the first floor, next to the master bedroom.
On the first floor, the spacious kitchen/dining room welcomes you as you enter through the front door; well-equipped and cozy, it seats four guests.
The house has radiators in every room and a wood-burning stove in the kitchen.
The house has a private parking space adjacent to the house for one car.

We had such a peaceful stay, all you could hear were the cow bells. Such a wonderful view and even when the weather was inclement we could sit and watch the clouds roll by. A perfect getaway!
