About this cottage rental
Casa Albina, a charming and peaceful village house, is located in the picturesque village of Riofabar, in a fertile valley at the foot of Mount Vízcares and Peña Ciévana.
What was once the grandparents’ farmhouse has been renovated into modern tourist accommodations, preserving the essence of the original structure as much as possible. Travelers who choose to stay here will enjoy a comfortable stay in an atmosphere steeped in traditional charm.
The history, culture, lush natural surroundings, local customs and traditions, and rich cuisine—combined with the hospitality of the local people— will help make your stay at Casa Albina unforgettable in a 100% rural setting—perfect for escaping the routine and daily grind. Very close to hiking trails in the area, 40 km from the Jurassic Museum of Asturias, 46 km from the Tito Bustillo Cave, and 89 km from the Asturias Airport.
Outside, there’s a beautiful entranceway adorned with flowers and plants, a fenced-in garden area, a built-in barbecue, and a closed garage. Free bicycles are available for guests.
Inside the house, there are two floors: on the first floor is the fully equipped kitchen-dining room (ceramic-glass stove, oven, microwave, range hood, refrigerator, washing machine, small appliances, and all the kitchenware needed for a pleasant stay). In the dining room, there’s a bench (restored by us) that will make the little ones look forward to mealtime. Spacious living room with a fireplace, TV, and rocking chair.
On the upper floor, there are two double bedrooms (each with two 1.05m beds) and one master bedroom with a 1.35m bed. There are two full bathrooms, one inside the master bedroom and the other between the two double bedrooms. Heating and hot water throughout the house.
