This cottage exceeded our expectations. Nevertheless we would draw attention to some of the small problems we came across which I think would make this perfect. There is no doubt that the owners have created a well equipped house with the choice of the equipment and furnishings of a very very good standard but we would make some mention where we think it could make made better with little or no cost. The comprehensive book of information lacked something of importance. There was an absence of a contact name and number should issues arise. For example, the wifi worked when we first arrived but failed from day 2 onwards. After numerous factory restarts connection was made but failed to stabilise, breaking down within a minute. Logs for the fire were in an outdoor locked shed but where was the key? However, our remarks should not deter anyone since they are easily and otherwise detract anyone from enjoying this cottage. They will not be disappointed. Finally, it would be helpful if the BLACK BOOK was updated and corrected where necessary. We did look at remarks left by other visitors and the use of 'wonderful' appeared in all we looked at and feel this was well deserved.

We really enjoyed our short break, with our dog, at this wonderful cosy cottage. The owners left good clear instructions throughout the booking process and the place was spotlessly clean upon our arrival. A thoughtful basket of essentials was left for us, so that we didn't have to rush out straight away for the very basic provisions. The property is very dog friendly, with a fully enclosed garden, toys, throws over the furniture and even a few doggy treats. On one of the very coldest days we enjoyed using the would burner, but even without that, the cottage was toasty warm. There is a large supermarket about 15 mins drive away, and a local convenience store just 10 minutes walk from the property. Fantastic beach walks are just a stones throw away, as well as a dog friendly pub. We also really enjoyed the fish and chips from the local shop (next the the convenience store), the best we've tasted in a long time. Only one tiny niggle; whilst the property has a washing machine there was no clothes rack to air your clothes and the outdoor line wasn't much use in the dead of winter. Also, the bulbs above the cooker hood had failed or were dying... just minor... but not the best lighting to cook with. Our overall impression was fabulous though, a love property, in a great location, for a peaceful break with our four-legged friend, and great value for money. I wouldn't hesitate to strongly recommend. Thank you.
