Perfectly located in the heart of the old town, the hotel is within walking distance of all the main sights and attractions. It also sits right by the riverbed, where the breeze offers some welcome relief from the heat (and trust me, the heat in Mompox is no joke).
The hotel itself is gorgeous. The house is incredibly charming yet modern enough to feel comfortable, without ever disrupting its old-world character.
Top tip: soak in the pool between 2 and 4 pm, then head out for a walk once the town starts to cool down. And be sure to chat with the staff — the real charm of Mompox lies in its people, and they'll happily share all the stories and legends the city has to offer.
