Welcome to our newly renovated property located in a quiet residential area of Pitcorthie in Dunfermline. The Royal Burgh of Dunfermline is of considerable historic interest and is the resting place of King Robert the Bruce. Carnegie's Birthplace museum, the Abbey and Abbot House reflect the historic interest of the City, whilst recent developments have seen Dunfermline move into the modern era with Carnegie Museum and Library. Dunfermline is located approximately five miles from the Forth Road bridges/ Queensferry Crossing and is therefore particularly popular with commuters to Edinburgh and many parts of the central belt with easy access to the M90 motorway with its direct links to Edinburgh, Perth and Dundee and across the Kincardine Bridge by way of motorways to Stirling, Glasgow and the West. It benefits from a full range of shops, social and leisure facilities and educational establishments associated with a modern City. The local railway stations provide a regular service to Edinburgh with intercity links to other parts of the UK. There are regular and convenient bus services both local and national.

This is a really cute little flat. It had everything we needed. One bedroom and a really nice modern bathroom. The kitchenette was well stocked and the hosts stocked the fridge with food for our first breakfast. We drove to the Tesco, but we could have walked. The yard is well kept and the neighbour is very friendly. We loved our stay here. It is beneficial if you have a car. They do have a convenient parking spot and driveway.

All aspects of this lovely property (including a free on-site parking spot) are as advertised. This clean, comfortable apartment in a quiet, family-driven neighbourhood offers a good home base for exploring Edinburgh via public transport (Stagecoach, Scotrail). Instructions are clear and concise, just right for a short-term renter to understand and treat the property well. If you plan to cook, check for the available pots, pans, or other utensils as well as space in the mini-fridge and plan your menus accordingly. The hosts have organized a quiet, clean, and affordable space with many features to keep guests comfortable.
