About this apartment rental
Our apartment is located in Via Luigi Settembrini, in a prestigious building in Liberty Style of the early 20th century. There is a doorman in the building, and an elevator that will take you up to the first level.
The elegant refinements that valorize it have been preserved during renovation works, as for instance, the large wooden doors and the antique pavement of the Twenties. In this distinguished context the furniture has been chosen with great care, preferring modern materials together with vintage pieces, such as the great blue wall lamps that illuminate the living room side by side with modern technologies, such as the spotlights, the LED TV, and a DVD Blu-Ray player. The result is a spacious and bright apartment where a classic structure and modern style are joined in harmony. The large space of about 200 square metres is composed of an ample living room with sofas and a big dining table large enough to accommodate the whole group.
The kitchen is located next to the lounge area and is completely furnished with a fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, classic oven and microwave. A hallway illuminated by LED spotlights leads to the bedrooms of which there are five.
Three of them are furnished with a double bed, another with two single beds, and the last one is a triple bedroom (with a double and a single bed).
The apartment is completed by three bathrooms, two of which are fitted with a shower; the third one, the en-suite bathroom accessible through one of the triple bedrooms, with a bathtub.
All five bedrooms and the living room have air conditioning. Free Wi-Fi connection, a DVD player, and a stereo system are also provided. It is possible to prepare an additional single folding bed to offer space for 12 persons in total.
At your arrival we will request a deposit of 300 Euro, which will be returned to you at the end of the stay except in the case of damages to the apartment.

Decent, large, property in a quiet neighborhood. The property is a much more dated than the photos depict and on one night I did see an insect on the living room floor. Communication with owners/management was spotty at best. Internet went out in day during our stay and it took a couple of days to get it fixed. Note that upon checking out you must first walk downstairs, open the locked foyer door, leave it propped open, and then return back up to the property to leave the key and close the door behind you (they did not highlight this when I checked in). We had an early morning flight when we were leaving and didn’t realize this until we had reached the lobby at 5;00 am only to find ourselves locked out of the apartment and unable to open the outer door. Had to resort to ringing all the apartment doorbells in order to get someone to buzz us out.

The property was wonderful! Within walking distance of a supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants, taxies, and bus/metro routes. VRBO representative arranged pickup and delivery of the family at the airport. Additional person on duty during the day on the property. Located outside the tourist sections of Rome, but easy access to all tourist activities.
The property was well stocked with linens, pots/pans, washing machine, etc...everything we needed for the week stay. The property ensured a safe and enjoyable stay in Rome.

Amazing property with great amenities and in a great location. We were far enough outside the hustle and bustle of the city but adjacent to bus and metro connections. Communication with Nathalie before our arrival and during our stay was quick and easy. We are so grateful to have found this location and will gladly recommend it to anyone looking for a spacious, safe, quiet homebase.
