On the positive side; The indoor spaces are great and tastefully decorated. Three good size bedrooms with plenty of storage space and the house was very comfortable for four adults.
The kitchen is spacious and well equipped but with one big drawback - there is no oven. There is a microwave with grill function, but you can’t make French fries for four people or heat deep frozen pizzas.
The cleaning was ok inside, but some surfaces seemed ignored e.g. the glass doors were full of grease marks and even some ice cream stains. The outdoor spaces need better cleaning and maintenance. Upon arrival, the upstairs terrace floor was VERY dirty and generally the outdoor furniture were full of dust and stains. The pool really needs a deep clean, and the pool guy did not come around once during our 10-day stay. One of the big window shutters in the living room was broken, which we reported on day 1 but this was left without any action to repair.
The location is ok. The village of Coto has absolutely nothing annd the local restaurant was closed for holiday during our visit. There is a great Pingo Doce within a 5-minute drive and you are 20 minutes from the coast with all the lively towns and beaches.
Overall, we had a good stay and the villa is really nice however needs better maintenance.
