About this cottage rental
A stunning 3 bedroom Coastguard Cottage in the heart of beautiful Winterton-on-Sea, Captain's Nook has 3 bedrooms and comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests. Please be aware that the stairs leading to the first floor may be steeper than you are used to you in your own home. Two of the bedrooms have super comfy king sized beds and the other has adult bunks. The master bedroom has an ensuite WC. Downstairs there's a cosy living room with 42 inch SMART TV, super comfortable sofas and an woodburner for those chilly evenings. There's also a separate dining area which seats 6. Electric panel heaters provide a warm and cosy feel all year around. You'll also enjoy a well equipped kitchen with all the appliances you'll need, no matter how long or short your stay. On the ground floor you'll also find a shower room and bath - along with a separate WC There's also a large enclosed garden with outdoor dining and patio area and barbecue. The garden is perfect for four legged friends and humans alike.

We really enjoyed Captain's Nook. Cosy and warm and in a great location for access to the beach (2 mins) and the local pub (1min). Lovely walks along the beach, stretching for miles in both directions and then fine ales and food on our return at The Fisherman's Return pub. A great getaway!.

A nice cottage with all amenities close to beach, pub and shop. The cottage has a good garden and we were treated to a visit from a sparrow hawk. It’s a great base for enjoying the wonderful beach and the broads. Fish and chip shop is highly recommended. Do phone your order though.

Property was lovely. Neighbours were very noisy, shouting and drinking from early morning in to the night in the garden 2 doors down. Black out blinds needed in bedrooms as they were very hot. No parking, had to park a street away and I have mobility problems.
