About this apartment rental

Summary:

The Collection Barcelona welcomes you to this comfortable 3-bedroom unit located next to Plaza Tetuan and Plaza Catalonia! The apartment can accommodate up to 6 guests, with a living area that features a relaxing sofa and a flat screen TV, dining area, and fully-equipped kitchen with all the appliances.



The apartment is 5 minutes from Metro Plaza Tetuan and Metro Urquinaona (Purple Line L2 & Red Line L1).



The Space:

This 112 m2 modern and bright flat in a newly renovated building located next to Paseo de San Juan and Plaza de Tetuan. The lounge and dining area is airy and offers all the comfort you dream for your stay in Barcelona. A comfortable sofa, a flat-screen TV, a sunny gallery in which a relaxing chair will invite you to read a book in front of the large bow window. The kitchen is fully equipped, with oven, induction hob, toaster, coffee maker, boiler, dishwasher.



⚠️ VERY IMPORTANT Please note the apartment is located in a residential building, where neighbors live here all year around and it is our obligation to respect their rest. Walls are very thin and other residents of the building very sensitive to noises. Please make sure before confirming your reservation you can adhere to the simple House Rules that are detailed below. Failure to accept and follow those will result on a monetary sanction and eviction from the property with no refund for the remaining nights.

The apartment has a capacity for up to 6 people distributed in 3 bedrooms:

The Neighborhood:

Dreta de l'Eixample is a neighborhood in the Eixample district of Barcelona. It includes Plaça de Catalunya, the centre of the city, and the upscale streets Rambla de Catalunya and Passeig de Gracia. It is the bourgeois neighborhood of the city, which makes the majority of its population belong to the upper class of Barcelona. Dreta de L'Eixample is one of the most luxurious neighborhoods of Barcelona.



Getting Around:

The closest metro station is Girona (Line 4).

The quickest way to go to the airport would be taking the train towards "Aeroport" at Passeig de Gracia. There are trains every 20min and it costs around 5€.



Other Things to Note:

*** TOURIST TAX & REGISTRATION PROCESS ***



- Since 2012 the Catalan administration requires that every guest staying in a hotel room or renting an apartment in Catalunya contributes with a small city tax fee of 9.50€ per guest (over 17 years old) per night up to a maximum of 7 nights. This cost IS NOT included on your reservation.



- National and International police demand that each guest, prior to their visit to Barcelona, would send information of their IDs or passports. This is mandatory, as it is stated in Catalan Law, and all legal touristic establishments are required to do so.



- This apartment uses a self-checkin system via the Chekin platform that will allow you to register all guests on the reservation

and pay the mandatory tourist taxes before your arrival.



*** CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT ***



Check-in time is at 17:00 hrs

Check-out is at 11:00 am (non-agreed late check-outs will incur on a 100€ charge per hour late)



*** HOUSE RULES ***



1. Parties, drugs, loud noise or any kind of disturbance towards the neighbors are completely forbidden, with a penalty of 400€ and possible eviction

2. Please observe quiet time between 10pm - 9am.

3. Respect your neighbors and be respectful in common areas (hallways, entrance, elevator, stairs).

4. Loss of keys will have a 100€ charge per key lost.

5. Smoking on interior areas will have a charge of 100€ + all cleaning fees involved.

6. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities.

7. Please leave the apartment in a respectable condition.



Not following those rules will incur on a monetary sanction and the full responsibility of any fines from the local administration or authorities.

The location is great lots of shops and restaurants as well as close to several Metro lines and walking distance to many attractions. The kitchen supplies were minimal as far as utensils go no sharp knives or serving spoons etc. but we made do. Over all a good base for a vacation to Barcelona.

Location was excellent. The apartment was bright, comfortable and close to everything! Sagrada Familia is only about a 15 minute walk and there are numerous restaurants and cafes close by.We had an issue with the dishwasher but it was fixed immediately!

This properry was spacious inside for four people and it is located in the perfect part of town to easily get around to the sights, restaurants, shopping, and public transportation.

Location and apartment was good. Limitations was about not making noise, being quiet etc. Was restrictive. Also the keyless entry is a bit of a pain as we had to make sure the phone was always available. Maybe including a physical key wpuld help.
