About this cottage rental
Stay at the newly renovated Cottontail Cottage at Long Point. This property has marsh views from the front windows and is just minutes away from beach access, cycle trails, hiking trails, fishing options year round, boat launches, and the Long Point Bird Observatory. Come for a relaxing getaway or adventure with the family. This property is enjoyable all year round. Summer Months Enjoy beach, kayaking, bird watching and trails. Winter Months Enjoy ice fishing, snowshoes, cross-country skiing.
The space
You have access to the entire four bedroom home, which includes:
• Two full bathrooms with custom tiled showers.
• A chef’s kitchen that has everything needed to prepare your own meals.
• Living room has TV with Netflix Prime TV, Plex with lots of movie and TV
show options. Electric fireplace.
• On-site laundry washer and dryer.
• Bedroom 1 has double bed with on top twin bunk bed, Bedroom 2 has
double bed, Bedroom 3 has queen bed and A master bedroom with a
queen bed and a desk setup for remote working.
• Wi-Fi that covers all areas of the home connected to 15Mbs internet
service, capable of accommodating remote working and Netflix watching.
• SONOS in-ceiling speakers.
• Outside fire pit and Crown Verity barbecue.
• Access to house is with August App or keypad at front door.
• Cottage has charcoal filter and UV Light water is safe to drink.
** Please note you will need to bring your own sheets, comforters, pillow cases,
and towels. **

Over two kilometers of soft sand and warm water make this beach a great choice for families. The natural landscape of the nearby Long Point Provincial Park is so unique it has been recognized as a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve.
BIRDERS
This is one of North America's top bird watching destinations, with over 300 different species of migrating birds and 80+ birds nesting on the Point annually. The Long Point Bird Observatory is located minutes away and Bird Studies Canada is just a short drive away in Port Rowan.

Long Point offers great fishing options all year round from having your own boat, renting a heated fishing hut, to fishing charters. All of this, and more, is minutes away.

Nicely appointed property, just outside the provincial park. Short walk to public beach access. We'll equipped with modern kitchen and all amenities. Great location for a short family getaway with our older teenagers. Hosts were welcoming and replied quickly if we had a question.

We LOVED our time at this cottage. Second time here and won’t be out last. So clean and very very comfy. Host is super friendly and responsive. 5 stars all the way.

Clean and convenient, host was very responsive at the start to ensure minor questions were answered.

Unfortunately the host had to cancel our booking the morning of our check-in day because of an issue with the property, so we were not able to stay. We were a group of 7 with 1 dog.We received a full refund but were unable to find another property on vrbo. We found a place to stay on another website.The property manager was responsive and quick in giving a refund when the issue was found.
