Summary:

Located at One Bright Point Magnetic Island right next to the Magnetic Island harbour and marina precinct at Nelly Bay.



The Space:

Located at One Bright Point Magnetic Island right next to the Magnetic Island harbour and marina precinct at Nelly Bay, this spacious three bedroom waterfront apartment has been architecturally designed to capture a beach house style with a contemporary twist with sliding door panels, louvered walls and breezeways to self ventilate all year round, while still maintaining privacy and security.



The use of glass is a major feature and compliments the dining area by bringing in a magnificent view of the Coral Sea and picturesque Townsville.



The master bedroom has a Spa Bath within the room with water views. The floor to ceiling windows are treated to prevent outsiders looking in so that you can relax in complete privacy whilst still enjoying the wonderful views. The ensuite with his and her basins has a double shower with views over the water looking through the bedroom.



The gourmet kitchen with European appliances has settings for six.



The second bedroom is complete with a Queen size bed, and the third bedroom has your choice of either 2 x Single beds, or 1 x King bed - just let us know when making your booking.

These rooms share the main bathroom which is also equipped with laundry facilities.



There are 4 pools available onsite for use during your stay, as well as a fitness room.



The complex is close to the Nelly Bay Ferry Terminal and public transport for easy travel around Magnetic Island.



Please Note - There is stair access only to this apartment. No bbq is provided in this apartment.

Magnetic Island is located 8km from Townsville and accessible by passenger or vehicle ferries.

67% of Magnetic Island is National Park Land, allowing for 36km of walking tracks with Australian wildlife like Koalas, Echidnas, Wallabys and many different birds. These tracks lead to magnificent views of the Island, its bays and surrounding blue Coral Sea.



Getting Around:

Magnetic Island can be easily accessed by the public bus service and taxis.

If you prefer to travel at your own pace there are hire cars available once on the Island. Parking is available.

This is a nice and tidy apartment on the third floor. It has an excellent view over bright point and the rock wallabies. It gets a little morning sun only. It’s in a good position to catch a bus, walk to cafes and the IgA/ferry. The apartment could do with a fair bit of attention (broken tiles, broken railing, tv not working), and although it sleeps 6, it doesn’t sit six in the living room (only has one couch, not as pictured). The block is a bit noisy with cars parking/other tenants, The block has four pools and a spa (all lovely looking, but freezing), and 4 tiny gyms with different equipment. The surroundings are rock/gravel with minimal landscaping which is a bit of a shame for the ambience. It all feels like it could be lovely.. with a bit of attention and planting. We probably paid a premium for a school holiday week, but I still think it was very overpriced.
